I'm up at 5:30 every day doing a run. I keep a kettle bell next to my desk so I can do 10-20 swings at a time throughout the day.

If your body fat percentage is low enough, then yeah, you're right, but my whole point is that most people have nice abs... under a layer of fat. Squats and kettle bell swings burn a lot of calories because they target the largest muscle group, therefore, if you want abs, do squats. It's not about "building your ab muscles" through targeting. It's about exposing your ab muscles.

If you want abs, do squats! I would also add Kettle Bell Swings to that list. If you want an easy whole body workout, do 2-300 kettle bell swings throughout the day.

I also find that the more I'm working out, the better I WANT to eat. IF I go for an hour run in the morning, I FEEL every bad calorie I put into my body for the day, so I'm much better at eating leaner, lower sugar foods for the day. For me, it goes together. Also, nothing boosts confidence for the day like completing a big workout. A big day lift, translates to Alpha behavior all night.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
