When I was in my early 20's a guy was interested in me but I never had a good feeling about him. Something in my head just kept telling me to stay away from him. She gave me holy hell about it, constantly bringing up and saying it might be my only chance to be with someone in my church. Well, fast forward 6 months, he shoved his fist in the wall next to his girlfriends face. I always follow my feeling about people from now on!

Generally you have a monitor for babies and toddlers but we stopped when our kids were old enough to get out of their beds to get us if there was a problem. About 5 years old. Otherwise I check on them before I go to bed and my “mommy radar” is always on, so I still wake up whenever I hear them come out of their rooms to go to the bathroom. Though, I can’t say my son hasn’t snuck in his iPad under his covers when he should be sleeping but what kid hasn’t?

I believe its for keeping an eye on the kids. I should point out that he has all boys. we do have very different parenting styles and I have worried about that too.

Well if that was even a possibility... I'm pretty sure his kids are safe. I grew up with an abusive father and his children are fairly happy despite what they've been through with their parents. But yeah, my kids are my number one priority

I actually got the story of his divorce from my friend who was friends with his ex-wife. He is a lot more strict with his kids than I am. Doesn't allow them electronics. Only allows them to watch certain television programs. Ohell!! I’m a NICU nurse I relate to this post SO MUCH!!! My favorite are the moms that come to our unit at all hours of the night (mother/baby is 3rd floor NICU is 1st) to take care of the baby and the dad refuses to even change a diaper THEN tells her she’s breastfeeding wrong!!

I’m in Roseville! I love it here! It’s a very family oriented area which I’d great for my kids not so much for meeting people. Originally from Gilroy. Nope. About 25 years of physical, Mental and verbal abuse until he was finally arrested and forced into seeing a therapist. Since then its been mostly verbal abuse. They are still together 51 years later. They sleep on opposite sides of the house but they have been together for so long its now just habit.
