If she’s not done something wrong to you, then you’re the jerk on this one! You hardly give us any meat to see your case.

When a woman is going down, she will drag the whole town with her! Her sister is instigating the divorce, and your wife fell right into it! Such hive mindset!

Took: lost all interest of building a relationship with another woman or finding a partner! Also half of all my stuff, 401k and my house Gain: resiliency, freedom, and learned how to being alone!

Don’t hate players, hate the game! It’s human behavior, the sooner you acknowledge it the sooner you can live freely. Us men are more romantic than woman

A 34 man chose a 53 single mom?! I hope she looks like Pamela Anderson!

So she’s cheating on you with a 15 yo kid? That’s criminal offense!!

No matter how tired I am after work, I still have to make dinner, do laundry, and housekeeping clean up! Having a wife is not the same of having a mate! Pay your fair share in a relationship

She’s already tapping out the marriage, and she’s doing it just to said she has done everything to keep the marriage! Go with the flow and prepare for the divorce! I just wanna let you know that there’s no person in this world can or will change her mind, even herself! She’s ready to leave you. Sorry mate

Women are hive minds! She probably met some women friend(s) at work, and was told she’s a mother to the child and is still paying 50/50, listening to the wrong advice. Met someone while hanging out with friends! Grant her the wish if she wants a divorce. It’s nothing worst than hanging on to someone that doesn’t want you back. She’s gonna want everything during the divorce since 50/50 is not working for her! Best of luck and sorry to hear that.

Sorry bro! You poked the wrong hole and paying the price now! That’s the price you gotta pay for 45 and making baby with a young bride. I’m not being rude, prostitute is expensive and wife is free, but you pay the most to the free stuff! Start looking for side gig and expect to work til the day you kick the bucket. Sorry

Funny! My exwife said the same thing! What do you want? Cuddle before bedtime?! Take as much time as you need, and you’re the one to decide how long do you need to process this divorce. THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

I turned myself to the sluttiest man that I ever could! I had sex with fat one, young one, skinny one, old one, etc.! Have been single for 2 years now! Take the necessary path to heal! I realized that I’m happier and richer to be single and my dad said the same, and he’s 65 and been divorce for 25 years

Damn! Mind was $280/hr back in 2020 with a $3k retainer. Read the book “Never Split the Difference” by Chris Voss, and use his techniques to draw a conclusion with your stbxw. Know what you want like, child custody (best case scenario is 50/50, don’t dream of 100%), alimony payments, how to split properties, etc. If you both can come to a conclusion, just tell your lawyer what you want in the decree.

I quit dating in general if you wanna know. I have no interest of getting into a relationship. I envy all the friends that have been married for decades and dream to be one of them…

Your best bet is to sell the house! Find a one bed apartment to live if you have no dependent children until you find another housing options. VA loans only let you borrow 100% right? I’d also heard that VA loan have different interest rate.

I was curling up like a ball sobbing on my kitchen floor when I saw my son’s room got cleaned up after she moved out! My brother had to come to my house just to make sure I’m okay and not being stupid or crazy! We all been there, and I want you to know you’re not alone.

I started following a matchmaker in China, and all the requirements from all these women are laughable! One common theme for divorce women is wanting a better man than the ex-husband! The matchmaker told them that you missed your chance and you’ll never find another man like him, because man like that will look for younger woman with no kids! 😂

Dude, just move on man! Woman is like a roller coaster ride, it’s fun while you’re riding it and it’s weird when you just sit there at the platform and wandering around! She’s never yours but just your turn! Don’t make it weird

Most states will not allow you to file a divorce or push the divorce process until the baby is born. She needs help, mentally, and I think she needs medication to stabilize her mental health. My coworker been through something similar to you. Eventually, the court have to give his kids custody to him because of the ex-wife is so crazy that she couldn’t even take care of herself! He got drag through the mud for years because of her crazy behavior, false accusations, lies, etc.
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/24 01:35 AM

So sorry to hear that, bro! The pain is real but you need to start thinking for yourself. Start working on the divorce plan. Start calculating out all your equity that you put in to this house and start splitting up assets in dollar value. You are not young anymore and you need the money for yourself! I’m not gonna save all the “what’s up with her” for now. So sorry mate

She’s hitting her menopause, aka midlife crisis! Let her go and find herself bro! Appreciate the time and memories that you both shared! Tell her thank you for being together with you for almost a quarter century, wish her the best, and tell her that she can leave the house and bedroom to search her new dream. You’re not going anyway, that means you’re not moving out from anyway since you are not the one that wanting to change the status quo. “She’s not yours but it’s just your turn!” Good luck

No paper in the world dries a woman faster than marriage certificate! You’re lucky if you get once a month after 3 years in! You’re looking at all the wrong things at the wrong place. If you’re needing someone to be happy, then there’s a bigger problem here. You need to self content and know how to love yours first. You might gonna start another relationship with another woman, but you will come right back to this spot, because you will be too clingy, overly attached, and etc. Forget about roman…

Divorced my wife back in 2020 after finding out her affairs! Took half of my assets and my son. Went into whore phase for about 3 years. Met and incredible woman that I thought I wanna do life together, but turned out she’s crazy, too! Now, I’m just prefer to be alone. Will be 40 by October this year. There’s not enough juice to squeeze in this new dating world. The dating market is in hyperinflation

I know you’re hurting and I’ve been through the whole process! It’s f*king suck and I’m not gonna lie. She’s already move on, and she will cook up whatever kind of story or story to justify her actions. Cut the loss and move on. Again, divorce sucks and there’s nothing you can do at this point beside of moving on. Sorry for being too direct.

So true! We get older and get wiser and able to see through the bs! I do miss cuddling and having someone to talk to and care for, but I’m very content by myself. I’m happy to be alone, and we all gonna die alone at the end. Why wasting time to chase a false hope.

Sorry mate! Divorce is just another new normal in our days and ages, and we will just have to live through it, just like a bad breakup! People are so unwilling to love people anymore. Tough it out, respect yourself enough that don’t beg for reconciliation or show your emotions to her. I found that most women are sadist, and they love to see a man suffer emotionally, don’t let her have that! Find your closest friend or siblings to talk about your feelings, or perhaps, go get a counseling session …

Dude, Wake the fuck up! She’s not yours, but she’s just your turn! Learn to accept that and your life will be hella better! 50/50 for every thing! Of course she’s gonna ask for the moon. Also, ask for alimony from her end as a bargaining chips in case the deal of 50/50 didn’t turn out to be in your favor. She’s asking for a divorce, so let her have one and don’t take anything less. Love the equality playing favor on the mans end!

You have a high chance of getting killed on the road. Are you gonna stop driving? Just make your own due diligence and do what is best for you. Did I enjoy the divorce process and lost half of my assets? NO. But I do know that my son is the greatest thing that have happened in my life.

It’s all about mindset. If you’re programmed to learn to love a woman, get married and build a family, yes, you’re gonna get lonely and want to get married. Our world have changed, especially women, and they’re no longer required to stay faithful with one man! It will be a lot of pain when you walk to the end of the marriage road. Is it worth it? The answer is, it depends! Do what you want and don’t let some sub-Reddit group to scare you away from your goal.

I’m sorry! Your emotion havoc is probably out of the chart now, and the feeling of betrayal is really painful. Take your time to heal, but you need to love quickly to get her out of your life. It won’t be cheap, but life is too short to deal with bs like this. I hope you find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Save your money! Nothing matters! Your best case is 50/50 joint custody and the kids gonna use your home address as primary for school. Move on

If we all just know that wife is just another term of expensive prostitution, we wouldn’t be in this sub at all! She’s never your, but it’s just your turn. Women are deceiving in nature to protect themselves and the western society is embracing them, and now they’re just a bunch of toddlers that want to have fun without responsibility and accountability! Move on man. You’re to young to get stuck with this bs.

Lost of income? If she’s working before, used that salary to calculate the alimony. Alimony really depends on the duration of the marriage and how much you want to offer, and half of the duration of the marriage and 10% of your total income. She might come for more, but it will be mostly ending up in the lawyers pocket! It’s stupid. Seek 50/50 child custody. Trust me, it’s worth it, and especially your mom is supporting you. Do it for them. Im listening to my son reading his book now, and that’s…

I don’t think you see the point here. The court is also there to protect the state, too. They don’t want to have a stray kid out there and the state have to pay for his/her existence, so they will make you to pay that child since you’re married to that woman! The system is fuck. People get stuck paying child support for their step kids! Go get a lawyer and file now, and move out or move her out.

Just Google pregnant wife during divorce, “Will the Other Spouse Be the Child's Legal Parent? Yes. If someone is pregnant during the divorce, the other spouse will automatically be a legal parent once the child is born, even if the child is born after the divorce is finalized, and even if the other spouse is not biologically related to the child.”
/r/Divorce_Men16/03/23 06:19 PM

I understand that. A lot of state will make the husband as the unborn child as the father and be responsible of the child. That mean you might ended up paying child support for some Chad’s kid. I want you to be aware of it

Capitalism is the reason why our family values and core structures are failing. Introducing equal rights, feminism, and bat shit family courts are just ripping the social membrane into pieces! It’s your home! You can go in there whenever you want if there’s no restraining orders against you. You can text or send her an email about your arrival and a list when you gonna get from the house. I’m wondering what happened to our world?! Why men are becoming second class citizens

Time! I was once like you when I found out the ex-wife infidelity, and I was sad and devastated. Remember, she’s not yours, it’s just your turn. We’re all human and we do things, and that’s what she chose to do. Practice yoga helps, too

Please seek help! Go talk to a therapist and and get those feelings/senses un-kinked, man. I’ve talked to a therapist before and it actually helped me through. The validation and mental support that you’re going after, and it might help you to get back up. Remember, having sexual affair in front of your son might do you a favor in court, talk to your lawyer about it and see what he says. Sorry bro, we’re all here together! Stay strong and stay focus.

I saw a lot of no contact advice. OP should remain on this stage until the divorce is over, and make sure all your assets are secured until the decree is signed. Why? Because she might be thinking that if she didn’t screw you over she will keep her on your good side and you will be her safety net, etc. Thank god that you have no kid with her since that complicated divorce and life so much more. Your therapist is not lying! A 40 yo man banging a 26yo, and that make a whole lot of sense to me! She will probably never able to find a man that will love her kids (also your kids) and her, and she will likely only be able to attract a man lower than you. All the men that she’s having are there for the free ride that she’s giving!
/r/Divorce_Men02/01/23 10:31 PM

She’d lost the excitement and therefore you’re not having sex! Women are just as horny as men, and we all know this! The only reason your ex-wife is not sexual with you is, she’s no longer interested of having sex with you. Why make up sex felt so good? Because it rile up her emotional roller coaster. We’re all wrong about giving her what she wants, happy wife happy life, etc. bs. If you can make her emotional, you gonna have a chance to have sex with her (woman in general).
/r/Divorce_Men02/01/23 06:13 PM

That’s a good approach. You had 18 years with her and have children together, and that’s good. No body was meant to be with whom forever, and we need to learn that. I think most of our thought of forever after thinking was sold by Disney movies! Love yourself, and live a meaningful life. Don’t hold grudges against anybody, because it only hurts you in the rear.

Don’t give her everything then, and split all assets to 50/50. I’m not sure how CA compute CS, for OK will put a minimum wage on stahm to compute CS. Alimony is negotiable, how much asset you wanna give her, car, etc., and the length of your marriage. CA family courts are not very man friendly as far as I’ve heard. Good luck

The divorce started right before the pandemic and was hard for me, but I met a few chicks and never got any further until I met my ex-gf. Divorce is like any break up, and it’s painful for both parties. You can’t keep looking back at the rear mirror while driving forward, and that’s how you crash! I broke up with my gf that wanted to marry me after I finished my divorce, and I do missing her from time to time. Demolish family courts! I’m so disgusted by it, the government need to leave us alone! When people sign the marriage certificate, you’re not marrying to each other but tying yourself to the family court system. When things don’t work out, they can just exploit you and take most of the things you’ve acquired during the marriage! The biggest things they took from men, their time! We don’t have a lot of 5 years!

Marriage is a lifelong learning. You don’t just throw a marriage away and move on to a new one. I strongly opposed getting a divorce unless something happened in the marriage, cheating, physical abuse, and mental abuse are involved. It takes 2 to tango, and it’s hard work! You can divorce and find a new one, and you will be ending up in the same crossroads! Read “No More Mr. Nice Guy” by Dr. Robert Glover and learn from him.

You let go of your past life one day at a time! 8 years is a long time and it’s not easy to forget someone just like Thanos, snap the fingers and you’re there! You will lose your life purpose, sense of life direction, dedication, and etc. Don’t lose hope, keep moving forward, one hour at a time. What really helped me through is, workout, yoga, and boxing. When I really want to clear my head space, I just go for a long, long walk, like 5-10 miles. I just walk and walk until I’m sore and tired, an…

Instead of getting mad and furious, try to use “we’re done” statement to work on the divorce. Tell her that it’s done from her ends, so she gonna do it the right way, 50/50 of all joint properties and no alimony, etc. It’s pointless to do revenge or petty fb post about her affairs since it will do you no good and you will regret it down the road. I’m wondering how many married men are getting consistent sex? 😂 We’re brainwashed by the society about getting married, and it’s only “normal” if you have a spouse in life when you’re this age! Survival rate of a marriage is a little bit less than 50%, and nearly 70% of divorce was initiated by woman! You will very likely lose half of your wealth and half of your father’s rights and time of your offsprings. You don’t get to complain or shown your emotions because you’re a man! Would you go skydiving when your instructor tells you that you have 50/50 chance to survive the jump and he is very likely be the one to decide if you get to live?

It’s not meant to be like this! A man marrying a woman is like singing up to give half of your life away! They will go out their way to cheat, to victimize herself, etc. and the system reward them for it! Think twice before you make the move if she’s worth it!

If she’s not pushing your boundaries, ie, unfaithful, alcoholic drugs addiction, abusive, etc. Then, I will say it’s worth saving the marriage. This also hold truth to the man side. This is just my two cents after seeing my stbxw actions and behaviors. Women are narcissists and selfish. If you can handle a 7yo kids then you will likely able to keep them on their toe; otherwise, you are wasting your times. Hypergamy is in their genes and there’s nothing a man can do about it.
