Trump 's main way of placating the right wing of the GOP had basically been promising them their pick for the supreme court. That'd throw back so much progress it's not even funny. Not even considering his xenophobia and racism being validated. I've seen enough confederate flags resurfacing, owners emboldened by the climate. I can't contribute to that.

Median is the number literally in the middle of an ordered set of data, wheareas mean is the average (sum of all divided by the number of numbers.) These are both measurements of middle though each have their strengths and weakness. Take the following set 5, 7, 9, 10, 54 The median is 9, the mean is 17. Income often uses median instead of mean due to just how unequal income can be.

Sure, they left on their own volition but that is leaving out the context. When the invitation was given the audience cheered. A couple of things. I need to see a wider angle or perhaps proof that there isn't a men's room somewhere else. If these are individual bathrooms (one toilet and you lock the door behind you) then I honestly don't have much a problem with this. The constant theme of restrooms is a huge line outside the women's bathroom and a smaller line for the men's and the plight and then plight of the trans. My suggestion is simply accept the parts about privileged being hard to recognize, but then try to get a better logical explanation on how that makes the privileged an oppressor and even more specifically how it makes an individual an oppressor. If you can shift the concept of privilege to positive stereotypes (which aren't good like all black men can dance, or all Asians can do math), then you can often find common ground and since you love your job, hopefully that will be enough.

You made your point well. Since she made it clear she doesn't want to continue the debate you don't really gain anything by continuing. However, if it comes up again, I would suggest trying to get her to explain the equalization of oppression and sexism. While they are often found together, neither definition requires the other. Even if they were the same, you already proved her point wrong in that wide of a generalization the oppression argument is idiotic.

As best as I can tell (also new to this and only figured out what the heck SRS was) it quickly expanded into the SRS Fempire where they have tons of different subreddits with the same ideology though different tone than the circlejerk of the base SRS.
