Exactly. I can see how you could read the first tweet as "women should be nominated for everything", but I think it's a lot more likely that they didn't mean it that way. Also, even if women were nominated in every category, that doesn't guarantee that they'd win.

Super exaggerated, but somewhat true. Sexism against men is somewhat acceptable in society's eyes. Switch the gender, and you can see how sexist something is while no one is doing anything about it, or sometimes applauding it.

You had me in the first half, but stealing is stealing. If they are jailed for stealing, they deserved it, no matter the story behind it, or the gender of the thief. Though I would agree some people are jerks, I wouldn't say that anyone deserves anything like that happen to them, and the thieves will be in the wrong, legally.
