I recently watched this documentary since the protest of it came up in my feed here. And the movie focuses heavily on domestic violence laws and just tries to emphasize the idea of that both men and women can be victims of DV. They have a bunch of lawyers on to ask them questions about the 2004 law for DV and how it's discriminatory against men and how the system reinforces through monetary gain through hitting quotas. Tbh i feel like the movie is very lacking since it heavily relies on trying t…

I mean yes its fucked up but just as when a woman has come forth many people will use all of these same arguments against her. Innocent till proven guilty is still a thing. On a side note yes I'm aware that there is definitely more support for the women than men in this sort of cases.

Idk if it works the same in America as it does in Europe. But since 2009 you should be entitled to her having to pay half of the travel costs as i can assume she didn't disclose the fact she was going to move. (i hope i remembered it properly) In any case as a kid from a similar divorce situation (also including the whole pretending our father physically assaulted us and trying to make the kid hate/afraid of the father) where my mother basically abducted me and my brother with her to spain when …

Whilst doing research for a college paper i came across a paper that said that almost 90% of males in college are unhappy with their own body image (don't have the exact source at hand right now will link it if you want later).

I think there is a misunderstanding here im not talking in any of my arguments about verbal assault or harassment of any kind every argument is based on nothing more than physical assault and harassment.

Okay if i grabbed u by the dick then u wouldn't swing at me because violence is not justified?
/r/MensRights25/06/19 04:49 PM

Try to read my previous comments in this thread again. I just explain how come she might justify her actions to herself in that situation. I'm not saying what she did was the right thing in this specific situation but rather that if it was truly a case of sexual assault/harassment then it would be justified.
/r/MensRights25/06/19 04:45 PM
1

I'm not saying that. Im saying if someone tries to grab my dick without permission imma swing at you.

You are awesome man! Here are some imaginary internet points ⬆️
/r/MensRights25/06/19 04:36 PM

I think it's perfectly reasonable to act like that though if you are being sexually harassed or simply assaulted. (i imagine in this case she thought he was air humping her from behind) If someone assaults me imma retaliate like that too. The problem here is that she misinterpreted the situation and acted upon wrong information. Which doesn't justify the violence in this situation but at least it would give an explanation to what could've gone through her mind at that moment.
/r/MensRights25/06/19 04:30 PM

Awesome for the info man imma save this comment for ratio references
/r/MensRights25/06/19 04:26 PM

Oh yes very true, you are right for raising that as a problem. But this video might not be best to promote that very specific problem. Maybe one of the better ones for that would those old youtube videos of public experiments where the guy abuses the girl and the other way around and people only aid to the former. Then afterwards these people are interviewed and give those very same answers.
/r/MensRights25/06/19 02:39 PM
1

Correct, hence i mention the level of violence being unacceptable. But in the situation where if he was truly doing that and sexually harassing her then i would say you go girl the same way i would tell a man good job for hitting back in self-defense if a girl was assaulting him.
/r/MensRights25/06/19 02:31 PM
13

The kind of violence is uncalled for. I assume though she did that because she thought he was doing the typical thing of pretending to shag her from behind.

If it was the other way around more men with debt than women it they would probably also try to clear all the debt. The college debt issue in the US is just crazy. Nothing to do with gender.
/r/MensRights25/06/19 11:37 AM

That's because more of em go to college the ratio of attendance and debt per gender is the same.

As a person having to also wear a brace like that for most part of the last 2 years due to several surgeries. I can confirm you don't need to have a limb its mostly for stability and movement restrictions so you don't bend the knee further than you should. These moments of being able to sit down and take of the brace is always a relief since they can definitely hurt after a while of wearing em. Despite all of that though the injured leg being positioned like that is absolutely unnecessary unless…

I can completely get that, and it's great that you want to learn more on the topic. All i can do is encourage you to try and learn and understand why feminists think the way they think, it's possible through listening to certain Jordan Peterson videos and other videos on post modernism so you don't directly have to watch your stereotypical gender studies professor talk about it. It's a tough challenge though, to try and listen to the material and then apply it to people who just seem to act on b…

I respect my dad so much for this though he also didn't have a job for a while after the divorce. He only had visitation rights every other weekend and he would save up whatever little money he had for those weekends me and my brother were there to go all out on food so that we wouldn't realize how bad he was doing. (during that time he lived in a caravan on a camping and the elder people who stayed there year around helped him out during the week by inviting him for meals). Now a days he lives …

All i can recommend from a personal perspective is that love only truly shows up if you let it happen naturally, many relationships start as just friends with benefits and later develop into something beautiful. Just focus on having fun, enjoying life and that one girl will eventually come. Keep your head up and stay strong!

I have no problem with ur post i just don't see the hypocrisy from a personal perspective since i don't see a problem with the feminist post itself either. I guess it's just a personal view on the matter for each of us. We all have a different view on topics and that's beautiful that's true diversity (opposed to what intersectional feminism claims diversity to be).
/r/MensRights02/11/18 07:24 PM

I understand that that is a problem but that shouldn't undermine the fact that she did do something respectable. She deserves praise just like all the other fellow men who died for that cause. All i can agree on, is that if it is blown out of proportion to how significant her sacrifice was compared to men because she is a woman then i will also have a problem with the post. But in this case it doesn't seem to be doing that. It just highlights this one person just like we could pick a random dude…
/r/MensRights02/11/18 07:12 PM
3

Their post isn't demeaning the fact that men died it just is pointing out this one person, happens to be a woman. Idk man i don't think our focus should lay on trying to dissect a feminist post into something that is to be offensive to us. If they do it then we complain about how dumb they are for doing it so lets not get down to that level as a movement, We are better than that.

Sadly enough that's not exactly the case. Not too long ago on this sub there were some statistics on a study that showed that there is a pretty big amount of people that think it's okay for women to hit men.
/r/MensRights21/10/18 10:19 PM
7

Like the famous story of that little girl that walked up to a little boy and just hit him for no reason with the excuse "you can not hit me, im a girl! ". The girl didn't have to suffer any consequences. The other way around you would have some sort of backlash against the little fellah, parents and teachers intervening to tell the boy how wrong he is for doing so because boys are not allowed to hit girls. And im not saying hitting is good im saying that we should teach kids they shouldn't anyon…

/r/MensRights20/10/18 07:00 AM

Simply with the fact that they advocate that being white or being a man is some how inherently wrong and evil. Also the fact that they seem to put them selves on a pedastool deciding who get's special treatment through the way they were born, this judgment being purely based on gender and race.
/r/MensRights19/10/18 03:01 PM

People don't notice a lot of things when they are blinded with anger, causing them to miss the bigger picture like for example how racist and sexist the left has become. It seems almost like it has made full circle by going so far left it end ups at the far right again.

Yesterday I saw this great video on the psychological difference between the humor of men and women and it is seen as common trait in female comedy seamingly that humor comes at the cost of men. (day to day example are comercials directed at women where the man is some helpless idiot and the woman comes to the rescue)
/r/MensRights17/10/18 05:26 AM

But if she keeps this up then its still a step in the right way, the more women start realizing this stuff and start looking for actual equality again the more people will jump on the wagon not wanting to feel left behind

/r/MensRights10/09/18 06:48 PM

Dude not all feminist are like the ones you think of and are probably used to hearing about on YouTube and TV. Some feminists are actually pretty decent people who don't have insanely radical beliefs but just think that whatever they are told by other women must be true. Most commonly i find that younger and more gullible women are the ones who fall most easily for the feminist movement.
/r/MensRights10/09/18 06:42 PM
1

Usually if you keep pointing these things out and proving people wrong constantly they get tired of it and will watch out more with what they say and if they it again you just remind it to them. (best way is always by keeping your cool and using simple personal examples they can relate to)
/r/MensRights10/09/18 06:28 PM

I would say i agree or disagree and point out if she is being racist or sexist and put out examples and empirical proof for why i make my statements. That means you won the debate, cause the only way they can beat you in their minds is by insulting you personally as they feel personally attacked through the act of causing them to doubt their beliefs (kinds like religious people when you try disprove their god). Also them insulting you will probably cause a reaction from your side which they will use to tell themselves that all these things that were said about their feminist beliefs were said by a horrible person who insulted them directly.
/r/MensRights28/08/18 02:48 PM

Idk man, maybe change your ur wording on how you explain it to them, like give them relatable examples of why it makes no sense. Like my 2 favorite ones are to say "why do we men still have jobs then? Cause as a business you would be stupid for hiring men who for the same job as a woman you will have to pay more. Doesn't it make more sense to hire cheaper labor?" or "it has been illegal since 1963 to pay a woman less than a man if you find solid proof of the case that you get paid less on the ba…

Funny how yesterday i was talking with a girl about this topic and by just using common sense was able to change her mind and perspective on the matter. So many people never look deeper into this topic and just assume the gap must be true cause feminism has told them their whole lives they were discriminated against and as soon as you help them look deeper into the subject they actually see what the facts are.

I have to say the second person in the article is pretty fun to read about as she is a white transgender male (meaning she first was a woman). She came across many of the problems some us regular white men come across and found it truly eye opening as she didn't understand why people were so mean and no one would help him.

/r/MensRights14/07/18 10:59 AM

Adds and companies will always feature women and kids in adds like this where they ask for money or for the idea of making you feel bad for them because studies show more people react to help a woman and child in need than a man in need. It's just pure day to day discrimination people don't realize happens to men. If a man gets hurt you either laugh or ignore it but if a woman does everyone is there within no time to help.
/r/MensRights14/07/18 06:09 AM
