Is being ugly a mindset or is it truly over for some men and never began?I reckon personality counts for more than looks. A hot guy with a shit attitude will attract some women, but any with self respect will dump him pdq. An ordinary guy with a great personality won't have much luck with cold approaches or even on the apps, but in situations where he can spend time with women, (dance classes, for instance) his chances are improved. The woman who does give him a chance is likely to be a hell of a lot nicer and worth sticking around with. | /r/ExRedPill | 04/03/25 11:01 PM
What do you think about DNA test and prenupsSorry to hear of your experience, man. That sucks. It had to be a hard decision to terminate when you were trying for a kid, unless she was positive it wasn't yours. I never wanted kids myself, but I have heard that there are some weirdos who do. 😀 | /r/ExRedPill | 05/11/24 03:08 AM
What would you have liked to have been told when you were inside the red pillAbsolutely. The difference between me at 17 and me at 25 was profound. And that was without ever learning anything about fashion or style. If I could have afforded a stylist and a fashion consultant (and the necessary clothes) I could have been a solid 5. Maybe even a 6. | /r/ExRedPill | 30/10/24 04:27 AM
What do you think about DNA test and prenupsYep I do agree. You're right about the 'I never cheated' point, too. Just saying that if a guy is suspicious with no evidence, that relationship is probably doomed anyway. | /r/ExRedPill | 30/10/24 04:08 AM
What would you have liked to have been told when you were inside the red pillThere was an article recently on Medium: My sincere advice to straight young men; as a hardcore feminist. If only I'd seen something like that when I was young, and I'd been able to listen. Sigh. It's a member-only article but the section headers say a lot. 1. Find yourself a real life male role model No, not a celebrity, not a media personality, not a character, and definitely not an influencer. That’s not someone you can emulate. I’m talking a real, adult, man in your daily life. Someone you c… | /r/ExRedPill | 20/10/24 10:53 PM
What do you think about DNA test and prenupsPrenup? 💯 Especially now that women have as much to lose, there should be no disagreement. DNA? If she wants kids she can take a hike. But, yeah it's a consideration for many. On the one hand, if she doesn't cheat she shouldn't have a problem. On the other hand, there's your lack of trust. You're accusing her of being a cheater with no evidence. If you have evidence that's a whole other discussion. And she'd probably be justified in wondering if you're projecting. | /r/ExRedPill | 13/10/24 07:16 AM
Sadia Khan the FAKE Psychologist (EXPOSED!!)Fair enough. You obviously have evidence that I haven't seen. Like I said, I've been ignoring her for a while bc while some of what she said sounded good, I'm old enough and cynical enough to know that most of what she said is BS. | /r/ExRedPill | 15/09/24 04:51 PM
Sadia Khan the FAKE Psychologist (EXPOSED!!)I'm no fan of hers but I can't let this go without pointing out that her only claim is that she has a psych degree. She has stated in at least one podcast that she does not practice because she does not have a doctorate. I got fed up with her PDQ, so I haven't seen anything of her lately. | /r/ExRedPill | 13/09/24 10:51 AM
The Red Pill is dyingI'm surprised these folks kept their followers as long as they have. I figure there's only so many ways you can say the same thing before it gets boring. Then I think about the other religions and how they're still pulling in the suckers and the big bucks after millennia of spewing the same message of misogynistic hate week in week out. | /r/ExRedPill | 12/07/24 08:11 AM
Just unsubbed from purplepilldebate…It seems to me that appearance is pretty much all anyone (regardless of gender/orientation) has to go on unless you want to spend all your waking hours poring over the profile text, trying to decipher what those cryptic and/or generic statements mean. Particularly for women who get overwhelmed with options, allowing the app to filter on some preferences makes sense even if they're not really requirements. My guess is that's where the pilled nutters get their weird ideas from. Or at least enough … | /r/ExRedPill | 09/06/24 03:06 PM
How do I not get frustrated when I see guys who exhibit the qualities I constantly see women here say women don't like doing well with women?Glad that you got a great life out of it. Hopefully it may help some other struggling guys. Like I said, I'm past such things, and probably don't really belong in this sub. The surge in interest in the "dating crisis" caught my attention and I started following some of the discussions. Obviously the reddit algorithm noticed my new interest and led me here. Interestingly, there has been a concurrent drop-off in my doomer volume. I'll have to fix that. <grin> | /r/ExRedPill | 15/05/24 03:20 AM
How do I not get frustrated when I see guys who exhibit the qualities I constantly see women here say women don't like doing well with women? Thanks. Sounds like a useful resource for any young blokes out there. Bit late for me - I've got 50+ years of bad habits to overcome before something like that would even begin to be useful. I'm only here as an observer, mostly. A couple of the reviews described it as a PUA manual, though, so approach with caution. | /r/ExRedPill | 14/05/24 10:05 PM
How do I not get frustrated when I see guys who exhibit the qualities I constantly see women here say women don't like doing well with women?a misogynist who tries to stop being a misogynist just to get laid is uh, well, probably still a misogynist. I'm gonna steal that. | /r/ExRedPill | 14/05/24 09:25 PM
How do I not get frustrated when I see guys who exhibit the qualities I constantly see women here say women don't like doing well with women? This is exactly right and well put. From what I've read, great sex is largely in the mind of the participants. Some (many?) women find guys like OP is describing more exciting than a guy who would make a good long-term partner. That excitement leads to better sex for the woman, even if the boring guy is technically better at the physical act. Women who are just after a hook-up will obviously choose the guy she thinks will give her a better experience, even if she knows she's going to be pumped a… | /r/ExRedPill | 14/05/24 03:39 AM
We Often Suggest Therapy. Has Anyone Actually Taken This Advice?Nope, never done any. Where/when I grew up therapy was only for "nutjobs", what these days would probably be classified as severe psychosis. It's not easy to overcome those early learned attitudes without therapy, so it's pretty much a Catch 22. I've never been comfortable talking about feelings, emotions and all that stuff. With anyone. I suspect that I'd need several years of very expensive therapy to overcome that before I could get to the point where a therapist could even start working on f… | /r/ExRedPill | 06/05/24 10:20 PM
