During WW1 and WW2 women worked in male fields and the world didn't collapse. Men still had to build those facilities that those women worked in. Being a female doctor is important, but a doctor can't do her job if there aren't men who build the office, and hospital, and bring in heavy medical equipment that women can't/won't move. So the same applies to those female WW1/2 workers. Just because their job was important doesn't mean their job isn't dependent on men.

There are far more women owned start ups and female CEOs of major corps Ok but men still have to build all the stuff that these women need, they are still dependent on men. A woman owned startup doesn't mean a bunch of construction women got together and built their startup, it means men built things and women moved in and formed a company.
