From what I've seen lurking in /r/redpillwomen, they generally see red pill ideology as a red flag for concerns that they may not that interested in monogamy. They are more interested in men who innately posses the alpha / masculine traits to be an effective Captain.

Yeah, it makes sense. I've also seen countless examples of women who give birth and use that as an excuse for being overweight for the rest of their life. However, I'd imagine there are also cases of the exact opposite where sharing the responsibility of a child brings couples together. I doubt those people are actively telling their story in online communities though. In generally, you should only be married / committed to someone you really trust. Someone can always betray that trust. That's j…

Low value men date single moms all the time. It's a good way for them to marry up. High value men have no incentive to date single moms because they're lower value than a great woman without any children. If you are that concerned about your husband completely changing his personality and betraying you, you need to vet harder. If he can be a great guy over years and years, why would a child change anything? As a woman, your SMV will decrease as you age anyway. You will never eliminate the risk o…

I don't know if it meets exactly what you defined in the OP, but I read "Sex at Dawn" after a friend recommended it and was fascinated by some of the things in that book, but it did seem to raise more questions than answers for me personally. Not too long later I read a comment on a forum roasting "Sex at Dawn" and recommending "Sex at Dusk". It's basically a refutation of everything contained within the former book, loaded with references to the actual science behind this kind of discussion. I …

I had never been in a LTR until I met someone special around the age of 30. We got married quickly after going steady. I think it really varies by person. I had personally witnessed so many destructive relationships through my childhood that it made me really averse to entering one, so I spent a decade of my adult life just focusing on building wealth and becoming a better person. This will of course be a different case study than someone who has been desperately trying to connect with women for…

Was thinking about amending my post with more explicit advice but you're probably right, it was just a low effort post in general and not very helpful. I'll try to remain thoughtful about what I'm actually trying to accomplish when I post here. Thanks for the moderation/feedback.

If he can't deal with the kinds of things you might write when you're upset and/or frustrated, is he really husband material? Even though I'm sure it doesn't feel like it right now, this may be a very good way to vet. If your relationship can overcome this test, I would bet it can overcome a lot more. If not, you can both move on without too much time lost. When someone in a relationship is hurt, there is no rewind button. There is only what's next to come.

Do you know his love language? Take a test together. Point out that yours is "Words of Affirmation". Do this as many times as is necessary. You will (hopefully) like the results. Bingo. I was waiting for someone to mention Love Languages. This is the exact reason the "Love Language" paradigm has stayed relevant for all these years. Plenty of great comments already, but I just want to re-iterate: you realistically have an entire decade to get the family you want. Sure, maybe your situation isn't the best of all possibilities, but that's life and everyone else is dealing with their own problems too. I would list off all the stupid decisions I made and how much time and money I wasted on them but I have an appointment next week I can't miss.
/r/RedPillWomen09/06/24 11:34 PM

I think part of the problem here is too many people associate logic with good and intuition as bad. This goes all the way back to the Greeks that came up with the idea that the highest truths in the world have logic at their foundation. This was also a population of brats who inherited all of daddy's wealth and rarely worked for most of their life. To them, there was no need for intuition because they were never handed any real challenges. For the rest of the world, empiricism is absolutely esse…

Edited my comment to be "recidivism risk" instead of recidivism. Risk of recidivism is typically one of the primary drivers of sentencing disparities.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 07:29 PM

What people seem to never mention when this is brought up is that recidivism risk is one of the largest factors to take into consideration when talking sentencing. Are you really so sure that the women who get these sentences are as damaged and difficult to rehabilitate as men with harder sentences? Call me sexist, but I would say the men are almost always a lot of extreme and have much more of a record of antisocial behaviour.

Yep.. I went to Japan recently for work. I've never seen so many low level employees sprinting around to complete menial tasks slightly faster. I think Westerners tend to romanticize Japan, but I think it would be good for us to highlight some of their terrible flaws once in a while too.

Yeah but I would think any number of things can change in the next century or two, including birthrates. I don't see extinction as anywhere close to an inevitability, but it does seem like their ageing population is already causing some issues now. Offering incentives for fence-sitters seems like a much better strategy than appealing to nationalism: https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2024/02/27dc24db30be-japan-oks-plan-to-boost-child-allowances-to-tackle-falling-birthrate.html

Yeah, make no mistake, this whole thread is pretty stupid and it was written very poorly, so idk why we're all even burning time here.. But, since we are here, I would lean into the question as, "Even if you are committed to being child-free for life, would you be willing to have a child or two (with the partner of your choice!) to help alleviate a very concerning population deficit?" I'm a guy but, like a lot of redditors, the wife and I have no interest in children and I don't see myself compr…

If they cared so much about children, there would be queues at single mothers' doorsteps. There are. I don't know if you know any single mothers, but I don't think any of my family and friends in this category have ever had a problem finding a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:19 PM

This is such strange, presumptuous framing. No one at all said anything about forced sex. If having children to increase the population is the sacrifice in question, you can take years to vet as hard as you'd like to find exactly the man you want. Most women are doing this anyway, with or without children to consider.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:16 PM

It's true. I'm a guy who regularly shaves legs, armpits, and privates. Wife and I had a saleswoman in our house discussing a bathroom renovation. We were talking about some feature, one thing led to another, and she starts maniacally laughing at me because I told her I shave my legs. She even paused for a moment to sarcastically ask me if I was a swimmer. It was.. interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 07:22 PM

Nah, women will always have a large pool. What they may screen themselves out of is the higher value men. Then they'll go online and complain about how awful men are.

29M I'm going to put this as direct as I can. Men love pussy. Sure, they like supermodels, but they also like the neighbor, and their friend, and your mom. If it makes you feel any better, go browse onlyfans and see some of the ugly women who have made careers off of men simping over them. If you fucked your husband the first time and he came back for more then you have nothing to worry about. Women will have sex for all kinds of reasons but men are not like that. Talking with a stranger over text is usually pretty uninteresting. Set up a date and reassess later.
/r/seduction16/09/21 08:31 AM

I think the alternative to being cringe is just telling her, "Sounds interesting. I'd love to talk about this when we meet up at X." There's only so much work you can do over text with a stranger. The best you can hope for is to get them interested enough to secure the first date.

M 29 I'm naturally very masculine. I try to assume a leadership role in many areas of my life, whether it be at work, doing something with my friends, or in relationships, at least when I think I can serve as an effective leader in that particular situation. The thing is.. those groups you are describing are a dying breed. I recently talked to my very religious uncle and he was bemoaning the fact that he knows it's only a matter of time before his church has to shut down because no one from the new generation is attending. I'm enlisting in the military soon so I'm probably going to be celibate for that whole crazy journey. You have been celibate for 8 months and you think this will empower you to make it 4 years while being surrounded by good-looking, similar-aged guys? I think a big difference between men and women in this domain could be that a lot of men don't really allow themselves to accept just any compliment, we run it through a filter to make sure it seems legitimate. Depending on the guy, that filter can be really thick. Anything you like about him that's specific to him (or at least, that wouldn't apply to literally anyone) would be a massive win.

Based on the upvotes, and other comments, it seems plenty of people agree. This is an extremely common piece of advice, for women who want commitment to avoid RP aware men. "neither demonizing men or TRP . . . is allowed." Perhaps the sidebar should be updated. In any case, I just want you to know that I think it's ridiculous to dismiss people for being aware of something.

That's why you don't date men who feel like they need Internet tips on how to be "real men." TRP men have their own goals. They're not in line with RPW goals. I don't understand this. Aren't TRP and RPW both just about understanding the truth about dating and relationships? You are making it sound like a man cannot be exposed to TRP theory without going on a shag frenzy.

Sounds like tone policing to me. That's the point. It is very, very common for women to instinctively lie when you first approach them. It's almost a biological response sometimes. Keep in mind that the context for these kinds of interactions will usually be at a bar, a party, or some other social event. If they are really so opposed to human contact right now, why did they come in the first place? Okay sure, a guy approaches a girl and she flat out rejects him as explicitly as possible. Where you take the conversation is intentional. You aren't caught off guard or panicking, you've heard her generic line a thousand times and you've just proven it to her. Or, you're just that social/easy-going/witty. She can't really tell. Either way you're confident in yourself and now you're standing in front of her.
