Except the part where they told you to leave and you insulted them to their faces

I still don't understand what gives them fragile egos. Being aggressive with someone who is harassing you isn't commendable, but it doesn't mean that.

Obviously she's lost interest to some degree. Some people are just busy though. Pick a time you think she'll be bored at home and see if she wants to talk on the phone

I don't think it's such an awful thing that she wants to text you. Obviously you don't want to break contact and move on like some of these weaboos are suggesting. If it were me, I'd just make the predominant theme in your conversations that you intend to sleep with her. If she strays from that theme for too long then don't text her for an hour or something.

Most social groups are comprised of one or two people who actually take the initiative in planning or arranging things. Just be one of those people and don't expect others to do the same. People want to hang out, they're just lazy. I had a friend recently admire that I came back from college and established a social circle right away. Literally the only thing that I do to make that happen is to start dialing once I get off work on Friday.

I like girls. I feel motivated to engage them on a regular basis because I'm swimming in testosterone. I don't talk to them when I'm walking around campus though, that's weird. I talk to them at parties, at work, on the phone, at bars, and so on.

You're right. Men have it hard. It's hard to be alone. It's hard to make the first move. It's hard to experience failure and brush it off like nothing happened. It's hard to see this mounting pile of evidence telling you how worthless you are, and not be cynical about it. But that's the measure of a man. You have to stay positive if you want to take control of your life, to achieve your goals, and to get what you want. You have to overcome your struggles. And the hardest part is that for guys wh…

Dude if you're in college, then fuck approaching. There's a reason all those clubs and events exist and it's to help you meet people. Don't drink so much of the Kool-aid, you'll thank me.

There's plenty of attractive dudes that just prefer not to go sleazing around. They don't cultivate options because they don't want to. The dudes who want to cultivate options are the ones that do. There are benefits to the abundance mentality thing, but don't think that taking up the mantle is going to make you a Lothario.

Just wait a week and ask her if she'll be free to go out at a time that's likely to be convenient for both of you. It's possible that she had her fill of romance for the time being, but be patient and you may get a second opportunity. I say this because she's giving you some negative feedback. She hasn't totally ghosted you which is a plus, but I would caution against pressing for attention until she's actively seeking out your company. Right now it's kind of like, yeah that was fun but I'm busy…

I don't really like the whole "numb yourself to the pain" approach. As a rule, I care very much that people like me. That said, I don't get all bent out of shape whenever a woman won't make time for me because at any given moment there are about a thousand reasons she may not feel like getting hit on right then and there. Maybe it's useful to be rejected enough that it's not so hard to muster the courage to go up and talk to a stranger, but as soon as you get to that point then your goal should …

I agree with everyone else, but what's the harm really. You go in and meet a bunch of new people and make a good impression, and what will she tell her friends then? "Oh he was just some guy." Nah. If you make a good impression, you're in.

It's just confirmation bias. You lose interest in less desirable women while the ones that are out of your league already threw you out. It's logistics not voodoo.

Contrary to popular belief, college is not all rainbows and unicorns for single men. There is a lot of exposure, because it's rare that people ever establish an equally uniform demographic. You have to capitalize on this, so the best way to do it is to join clubs and organizations that amp up your social circle. And then on top of that, leadership positions tend to sequester eligible bachelorettes. So at this point I would say that a great number of single women are behind lock and key to you, j…

It's not you, it's the logistics of the situation. Women are valued for their youth and beauty. Men are valued for their wealth and status. Why would a young and attractive woman want anything to do with a twenty year old then? Well, it's mostly luck with a little bit of convenience sprinkled in. Don't get down on yourself, just keep working at it. Your day will most certainly come.

Have you considered not going out? If you don't feel comfortable approaching women in a bar then find some other way to do it. Go volunteer at an animal shelter and make friends with a co-worker. Go join a soccer team and make friends with a teammate.

You don't need to reinvent yourself. You'll get tons of exposure once you go to school. Just be friendly and dress nicely on a regular basis (in clothes that you like and feel comfortable in) and the pieces will start to fall together.

It's not a bad thing to recognize an opportunity and choose not to deliberate. You may not want to punch the bully in the face, and that's totally cool. You should be comfortable with who you are and how you would like to operate, but you must also take ownership of your choices at any given moment. You chose not to approach, because perhaps it was not in your best interest at the time. But would you make that choice again, and will you the next time? We only make so many in a lifetime, and that…

Learn how to give an opinion. Talking more than you think you should relieves the burden of conversation for a woman who might be a little bit nervous. And if that's not the case, they'll pick up the vibe and start talking a bunch themselves.

Don't listen to them, movies are fun! Take her to the gas station first and try and convince her to sneak in way too many snacks. Then yall will be loaded in the theater. Also it's easier to just ask to hold her hand during the movie rather than try to be cool and just grab it. You'll risk delaying too long. Man up and ask for what you want. This is a good opportunity for you to be charming and to take the lead in very short, prescribed bursts. That's why movies are such a classic first dates. T…

I'm not sure why you're so worried for her to find out that you like her. This isn't a game where the last person to be vulnerable is the winner. If you want a tip about the texting thing though, just only send pictures and gifs when you're busy. Works like magic.

Are you remembering to actually have fun? Women don't want to be the center of your attention 100% and it certainly seems to be what the focus of this post would imply. If things aren't going so well maybe try doing something that will keep the two of you busy rather than just prodding her for conversation and sexual tension. Let that stuff happen organically in the context of whatever you happen to be doing. I like pool, or mini golf, so a lot of the time I just relax and do my own thing and le…

I think this forum is a little crazy on this subject honestly. Escalate, escalate, escalate is what I usually see, and yes that is pretty fucking creepy. If you don't want to be creepy then you have to be able to make women comfortable in a public setting, which is pretty difficult. Now I don't mean to imply that you should not escalate, or that you should not touch women in public. But I do mean to tell you that sometimes you have to back off a little bit to get what you want. If you can learn …

Honestly man, sometimes you're just gonna have a shitty week. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But make sure your good weeks aren't just because you hooked up with some girl. She's just a girl after all.

I dunno I guess it went well, but you certainly didn't earn any points with her friend. That kind of seemed like the point of bringing her along in the first place. This girl basically arranged something that wasn't a full-fledged date in what seems like a reasonable manner, and you just straight up ignored her friend all night and pretended that the situation was something that it wasn't. If it had been me I definitely would have made a big effort to get the friend involved, and then would have…

A lot of the girls I've dated and subsequently been friendzoned by I tend to keep around as relatively close friends. Although this probably invites a bit of risk, it's an easy way to accumulate a number of female friends. I'm also very good friends with the girlfriends of my buddies (granted this would probably not last beyond their respective relationships). To be more concise, it is very possible. I mostly just consider them my personal cheerleaders. And I can't tell you how helpful it is for…
