I mean I sleep with my dog and I roll over on her all the time. The difference is that she can push my leg or arm or whatever away and a baby couldn't. Although, like I said, I have no idea

Aren't you like...not supposed to sleep with your baby anyway? I don't have any babies but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to sleep with them in the bed.

I wonder what was going through her head as she was wet, with her shirt up barely covering her tits, and he called her a stupid whore.

If you're in America, it's not harder to be a woman than a man. It can be hard in different ways, but it's not like woman have 10 units of hardship for every 1 unit of man hardship or something.

I worry more that it will stop the liars from recanting their story and end up with an innocent guy in jail anyway since they're afraid of the consequences. But at the same time it makes me sick that someone's life can be destroyed like that over some stupid lies, I'm not sure where I really stand on the issue.

I mean it's not like she's a poor working mom, she was on the freaking view. She has money to support the kid but disregards it because....why? What could even be a good reason for this? This woman makes my blood boil. Edit: also, what about the surrogate who just gave her literal body as a host for this kid and now she just...has it? She's probably not even prepared since she didn't expect to keep it.

I know this probably isn't right to ask but...what the hell was he going to do with the bible? He can't read it, he can't turn the pages, he can't even pick it up and chew on it. Dudes a quadriplegic, what does she expect here?

This isn't making poor decisions. Did you see that video? Holy shit, this lady straight up drove like a demolition derby! How do you get on the road and observe literally everyone going a different way than you and assume THEYRE wrong (I guess)?

That's a little out of left field. I never have or will attend a woman's studies course. Not that I'm against it (it's not like it's an insult or anything) I just don't need to.

Let me rephrase: anything I could say has already been said anywhere that sub is discussed. I don't feel the need to get into a long argument about it because..well...it's the internet.

-19

I've done it. Anywhere the sub is discussed you can find the same shit. Quick example because I'm not trying to get in a lengthy debate "withhold affection until she does what you want" is part of the "philosophy" of that sub. That's emotional abuse.

TRP advocates what is essentially mental and emotional abuse. Just because it's not physical doesn't mean it's not abuse. This sub is nothing like TRP.

In some places you aren't allowed to pump your own gas. It's not that hard to not pay attention to a stranger doing their job, especially when you're a kid.

As someone who lived there, you probably don't need to go there. Although full service gas stations are cool as hell! You get to be the king of the gas station, ordering people around and shit.

When I first moved from a state where they pump gas for you I didn't know how to do it. I probably could have figured it out if left alone, but I was afraid of screwing it up mostly. Plus I didn't know directions were on the screen.

How about don't mouth off to people in general, and don't act crazy if you don't want to get treated like a crazy. "Treated like a man" is sort of giving a pussypass already.

The excuse is what gets me. Not only are resources literally everywhere for most new moms in many places, but even a random person on the street will tell you if you leave a baby alone for two weeks, it dies. This woman is an idiot.

I mean it's not like I was talking or texting, I still paid attention I just didn't take notes.

I had a spanish teacher that didn't require note taking or anything. I had already taken years of Spanish classes but the transfer between schools left me taking Spanish 1 again. I already knew the material and sailed through the class with no notes. The teacher pulled me aside and said that me not taking notes and sitting quietly was distracting to other students and so I needed to at least pretend to take notes. Because, you see, if they see me not taking notes, they won't do it either. I'm no…

Because handicapped people have full lives like everyone else and sometimes are in a rush also. And maybe YOU are the type of person to do this, but most people do not. Why in the world would I? Or anyone else for that matter.

Look, I'm really not going to argue this all day. I will say though that there's a video out there (I'm on mobile so someone else find it if you want) of a woman who describes her sexual relationship with her female gym teacher in high school. They had extended communications, multiple visits, and the coach (or gym teacher) basically acted like they were just secretly dating, but it was quite abusive. She talks about how she feels about it In the aftermath.

He didn't get prison. Maybe the name should be changed, maybe not. For now, this is rape. Also, I believe that it should still be considered that way. I know a lot of people argue that if the genders were switched it would be different, but that's besides the point. The point is, from the teachers perspective, she knew this was wrong. And the law tends to air on the side of protected groups in these cases, one of which is children.

You can't do a lot of other things though. You're also not old enough to drink. The issue with teens and sex with adults (as far as I know) is the power dynamic. I'm not trying to argue if this is right morally (go to r/changemyview for that) but legally this is rape. So, this is rape. Similarly related, I had a teacher who was fired from his last job for having a relationship with a student of his when she was 18. Legally an adult (senior in high school) but still wrong on his part. Although I …

If you LEGALLY rape someone, it means you raped someone. He couldn't legally consent to this relationship. If it wasn't sexual there wouldn't be a problem (I think) but just like minors can't consent to (most) contracts legally, he cannot consent to sex legally.

How is it not rape? He's not old enough to legally consent to sex (at least in most states).

I'm insulted people think that, I'm insulted people use it, I'm insulted people buy into that shit. I'm a woman and I don't use that shit to my advantage, in fact I practically got screamed out of a class last year because I said if a woman hits a man he has every right to hit her back.

Whenever people say "oh she's a woman she's weak it's different" I just say that I'm insulted they have such a low opinion of women. We are not delicate little flowers or babies who aren't responsible for their actions, we are adults and actions should have consequences.

More people may go to jail wrongly. Give them the option to back out. If it's any consolation, I do think these false accusers should serve serious jail time. I'm just not sure that implementing it as law wouldn't see more falsely accused in jail.

The problem is nobody would recant their story if there were penalties for it. If we could surprise them with it then maybe.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
