To explain that sentence, it refers to the habit of some well-connected people to use their connections as blackmail/an excuse to get away with things. It's insinuating here that men are the only people who use status to get anywhere, as well as the only rash drivers.

it must.

Well, all of them were men.
/r/MensRights16/12/12 10:53 AM

Yeah, I see what you're getting at. Not the best medium for communication of this sort, really.

I think you're justified in your concerns. A) It isn't fabricated, I can assure you. B) He's not a sick fuck, and the reason people are taking it as a joke might be that they aren't all from his uni, and that a few of them are far removed from the crime scene.

I don't actually care about karma. I wish it was scripted, actually, but it's not.

That is true, that men and women both inhabited all parts of society, yet, women were closed off from sectors of society because of their gender. Men and women are all people, they all face issues, and they all have faced issues. What both the MRA and Feminism approach are issues caused due to gender, which tended, historically to discriminate against women.

I know that, but the thing is, it was not in equal measure. By most measures, men fared better than women throughout history. It is only now that women fare far better than men.

"• Driving recklessly while you and/or your children were in the car etc." Of course, this is abuse.

I've been tumblr searching for misandric material, and there is a whole fucking lot of it.

This subreddit was the first contact I had with this movement. And it's made me an MRA.

I wondered exactly the same as I read it. It's as if you're selling women cooking equipment saying that it's good for men.

sciencedaily.com is blocked from reddit That's touted as an advantage of the male pill, is it not?
/r/MensRights13/11/12 05:00 PM

Oh, 7 minutes long, this is just an introduction :P

That's good actually. It was a reflex, but it was a wrong one. Thank you!

What annoys me the most is the comment at the bottom. The kid has put most activities for both, as they should be, but she isn't happy with that?

That's how your perception of feminism works. Take this analogy. Just because I am a gay rights activist doesn't mean that I don't support the right for two straight people to get married. It is not a zero-sum game, contrary to your belief.

One thing that a lot of MRAs need to get clear is that if someone is advocating for women's rights, they are NOT saying that men don't have any.

That's the thing, they don't want a white woman's social movement to help them, they want a social movement period.
/r/MensRights28/10/12 11:33 AM

She isn't really arguing that it IS men, right?
/r/MensRights28/10/12 11:32 AM

To be honest, I'm Indian, and though this speaks of a different culture, I can say that in India there is lots of discrimination against women. It is wrong. Girls are not sent to school whereas their male siblings ARE. Girls are considered liabilities. This is coming from someone who supports male rights to the fullest, but also supports female rights.

"I am a female supremacist, but I totally disapprove of male castration. A castrated male is totally useless. After castration, a male would lose his sex drive so he would not be able to mate with a woman. I enjoy sex too much to keep a male with no sexual desire. A castrated male would also lose his muscularity and his body fat would increase. His penis would also shrink as well. What woman would want that? I think the testicles look very sexy, and a male wouldn't look right without them. A cas…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
