Yeah, good point!! There’s always exceptions too, but personally that’s the mindset that I subscribe to.

I’ve heard that it’s been slowing down substantially. My point is simply that if we only value quantity life over quality of life, bad things happen. And in the case that my original statement lacks validity, I apologize.

For the overpopulation: my point is not that overpopulation is happening, just that if we hold the mindset that pro lifers have, it’s a problem on the horizon :)

Alright, well honestly, I think it all boils down to how brutal we both find the procedure. I doubt either of us are going to change our minds—I personally don’t see abortion as murder, and clearly you do. Perhaps one day we can see eye to eye. Cheers

Sorry, was the fact that suicide is the second leading cause of death for those from 15-29 not enough for you? And no, it’s not the same thing as saying the whole murder vs. people going hungry. Perhaps a better example would be something like letting in immigrants to a country where their resources are already strained and even those who are citizens don’t have access to all those resources. When the immigrants aren’t guaranteed an opportunity at a good life and are guaranteed to be brought up …

Alright, so you think living is better than being terminated before even living. Even so, why don’t we put our resources into improving the lives of those who are already born? Do you believe in quantity of life or quality of life? If so, are you aware of a concept called...overpopulation? And as for statistics for suicide, I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking for. Do you want to know if people commit suicide? Well, yeah. https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/suicide

Well...a lot of people do! Do you think people don’t commit suicide? Do you not think that there are many more who WANT to but aren’t able to?

I beg to differ. We can start being “pro-life” when we first begin to take care of the children who are ALREADY born and need help. We can debate about outlawing abortions once the children who are alive and have complete agency are being treated well. That’s perhaps the biggest hypocritical piece of thinking coming from the pro-life side: yeah, let’s force all this kids to be born, but do nothing to help them once they are born. So that’s my justification for why I’m pro choice. I’ll revise my …

I think the only thing that really freaks me out about dating older men is the fact that THEY are dating younger. It makes you wonder why they don’t go for people their age. Are they actually not as mature and women his age know it and won’t date him? The biggest worry for me is that when you’re younger than 25, it’s difficult to understand if your partner is actually acting maturely for his age because the whole idea of dating an older man is so mystifying. He can be 28 and living in a trash ap…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
