Also be completely direct in letting her know you are interested. You don't want to stop her from behind. If she smiles back at you, you immediately want to just stop and say: NOTE: If she already passed you, you can walk up alongside her gently say "excuse me" but you will probably startle her in a way that won't make for comfortable conversation.
