Every time I've been on a jury, there have been people who were willing to vote this way or that way on a given charge in order to get out sooner. The last time, I sat next to some asshole who was more concerned with getting home to his puppies than thinking about the very good evidence that the cop was lying. 11	Ah yes, justice, courtesy of an idiot on Quora I have a hard time believing you've been summoned 20 times in 10 years. Every state in the US has an exclusion period after you serve lasting at least one year. You might be stuck on multiple trials during your service period. Where I live, you call a number each morning for a month to see if you need to report to the courthouse and if you do, you may or may not be seated on a jury. Constantly attacking your audience with vile insults doesn't seem to be a profitable strategy after all All the numbers from boxofficemojo The first weekend numbers don't tell you if it was any good though. We went to see it out of curiosity and we thought it was awful. The chemistry between the cast of the original movie is what carried it, the story itself is pretty bad. The selective service act gave the president the power to conscript males between 21 and 35 for a 1 year term of military service. Supposedly in the branch they selected when they registered with selective service. Practically speaking, you register when you turn 18 and nothing comes of it.
