Hobbies, especially stuff that requires focus. I build model kits, I've gotten good at it to the point that my stuff is on display at the local store. Find what you enjoy working on and focus. In some cases it helps you in other areas of your life.

I've dealt with quite a few women like this as I work in retail. Retail has a very high number of women working. They expected me to get over their little tantrums because of their hormones. I tell them that my hormones tell me to resort to violence, but I've never done it in 45 years. It's called self control, try to learn it.

In 2006, a CEO of a property development company was killed in my country when he was hit in the head by one of the rotors. He was taking some kids on a helicopter ride during an event. After landing he apparently didn't follow safety protocols while leaving the vehicle. According to a reporter present, his brains were splattered on the ground.

It may be different where I am. I'm in South East Asia. We do have some guys like that, but they tend to be young. I'm 45 and occasionally hang out at a small local model shop, I help guide some beginners in the hobby by giving some tips to improve their skills.

Sexual harrassment against guys isn't taken seriously. I remember when a supplier grabbed my crotch at work a long time ago, I backed away and told my boss about it. My boss decided to give my personal mobile number to the supplier who proceeded to call me almost every day asking me out. My boss thought it was hilarious.

It is a hobby that helps you focus and teaches the importance of precision. It helped me to be better at my work, which requires precision and dealing with small parts. I agree that some of the kits are simplistic, but they are not toys. In the end it's about what makes you happy, so I tend not to belittle a hobby just because I'm not in to it.

As an Asian I can say that we aren't all the same with regards to size. Our average may be a bit lower. But I'm dark skinned so I get hit on by girls who buy in to the whole dark skin correlation to size. One of the reasons I got turned off with regards to dating.

What this guy said. I fit lenses into frames for people who need glasses. I can't speak for other countries but where I am, if you need glasses it's done by men. Not that the field doesn't allow women, they just don't want to do it because it requires focus. Even when we switched over to automatic machines they regarded it as too much of a hassle.

Strangely enough, I've been stockpiling model kits for more than a decade. It was based on the assumption that I could do them in my free time. Now I have enough to do for up to maybe 2 months+ if I were to do it every day. Plus I've been buying supplies to get into diorama building as well.

It's more like conditioning. We've been told what we should strive for, what is considered success in life. And there are lots of people around us keeping us on that path, telling us not to deviate because that will lead to failure.
