I didn’t bring up FGM when there wasn’t a discussion already about it. A whataboutism would have been if there was no discussion about FGM and i jumped in and argued “BUT WHAT ABOUT FGM?!! Thank you for the reminder that male circumcision is not always performed in a hospital and can be as brutal and horrific as FGM. It just wasn't part of what my original comment was trying to convey.
