We need to start defining successful relationships as ones that end as soon as the red flag and conflict is noticed and brought to light. My last relationship was 3 years and I knew everything I needed to know to dump him in the first 6 DAYS. Instead, the relationship ended in him stalking me, isolating me from friends and family, him starting an addiction to cocaine, verbal abuse, the list goes on...

I think the author of the post/comment is making a valid point, and I feel the same about my body. There are some insecurities I have that I know are less impactful to me in my sexual world than a man having a small penis and the impact of that on his world. That said, we can’t say that EVERY female insecurity is benign. Some are so impactful that women commit suicide over them. For both men and women, it sucks.

His invite should have been, “Hey love, you know what happened today? I won a voucher for two flights to X. I want us to go, I think it would be amazing. Would you be willing to split the hotel cost with me?” Done. If that’s not the convo, I’d be outta there.
