Lets examine two hypothetical cases: A. If the accused were a Black woman, would the community reaction be as severe as if the accused were a Black man? B. If the accused were a white man, would the reaction mirror that toward a Black man? Intuitively, in both scenarios the response seems likely to be less aggressive than it would be toward a Black man. This implies that the original incident (referenced indirectly) may involve both racial and gender biases. Moreover, it seems plausible that sce…

I don't know how things have gotten to this point. Because hurt people, hurt people. But in all honesty. Misandry or any other hatred against a group will never go away.

I don't know how things have gotten to this point. Whether it's misogyny, misandry, racism, etc. it is still hate, at the end of the day. It's just humans doing evil stuff. Nothing new here. And it will never go away.

Systemic racism doesn't exist So why did slavery exist? See there you made yoself look dumb. 😛

So you honestly think that systemic racism and white privilege don't exist in this cruel world we live in? Please come back down to earth, because the reason you are saying this is because you are mixed and are afforded the perks of white privilege. Just because you don't want to acknowledge or accept does not make it go away. For example, police brutality and racial hate crimes is a clear example of racism. Police abuse their power and kill or arrest mostly black people. Like, George Floyd and …

Yup it just goes to show that black men are more discriminated against in the western U.S. https://www.reddit.com/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates/s/g42R60PurF

White privilege lol. Yawn. If you don't think white privilege exists, then you need to get out of lala land and come back to the real world. 🙄

Yes that's why I'm trying to tell some people in the comments! When we look at "men's issues" we have to look also at "minority groups." Black men and men in general face the same issues. Like; black men are more likely to get arrested than white men, but men in general are more likely to be arrested than women. It's no surprise that "passing" trans men have said they were treated worse than when they were women and "passing" trans women said they get access to more freedom and legal rights than…

I don't like playing the "who has it worse game" but, Mixed people have white privilege and face disadvantages as well. But since mixed people are seen as light skinned others will think they are "white" and get afforded the benefits of white people.

Yup, intersectionality is very complex.

Facing challenges is good for personal growth and building resilience. You shouldn't avoid having a black son because of those challenges he will face. Also, you can just have a mixed/biracial baby.

The oppression/oppressor-game is infinitely destructive. I 100% agree with that and the fact that feminists aren't male advocates oppressors. So why would you play the same game? Okay so what do you oppose we do? Because when talking about men's issues you HAVE to talk about minorities/marginalized groups, as well. Don't you agree? That there's intersectionality that correlates with men's issues? That yes, men in general do face gender discrimination other gendered issues. But a white man's expe…

How is that clear? Because going by gender alone avoids nuance and just oversimplifies things without taking into consideration other factors. It's like saying women get paid/earn less than men without even considering the factors at play. Like career choice, occupation, hours worked education, etc. it's the same logic that applies to "which gender has it worse overall" which is again an oversimplification, because you have to take in the factors that affect it. Black men/non-white men has it wo…

Because how can someone come up with the conclusion that one gender has it worse without considering the other factors that come into play? Such as race, ethnicity, attractive level, disability, and every intersectional factor. It is clear that being a white attractive female is the gold standard. And anything less than that is considered "inferior".

indigenous men have by far the worst outcomes compared to every other ethnic group in America. How did you come up with this claim? And what ethnicity are you? I am an African American male and there's statistics, showing that when it comes to racial discrimination, blacks face more of it.

Focusing on ethnic groups and how that correlates with gender would make for a long and complex list that I just don't feel like researching and then writing, so I just focused on black men. But minority/ethnic groups (i.e, Latinos, blacks, indians, basically anyone who is "non-white") face more discrimination than their white counterparts, especially in the U.S. Being an attractive, white, female is like winning a jackpot lottery. They have female privilege, white privilege, and pretty privileg…

You are misunderstanding what I'm trying to say. What does the word " equality" mean to you? And, you think men and women shouldn't have equal human rights? That's what I'm trying to say when it comes to human rights men and women are equal in that area, but those like you said we face different issues. Come on now, it's not rocket science.
/r/MensRights02/11/25 09:26 PM

You can't be equal and different sorry .... That's not equal Omg! You can be equal and different at the same time. Men and women have equal human rights, the right of freedom of speech, to vote, we are human beings, etc. but we are different (i.e, boys on average are better at science and math and girls are better at reading, and language.)

Women tend to be the more vulnerable sex physically and society claims emotionally as well ... I'm too lazy to read any studies on the emotional part .... It's just not as common for women to commit violent crime It doesn’t matter — the point is that women aren’t “good” or “innocent angels” the way society often portrays them. For example, child abuse, abortion, and emotional abuse are more likely to be perpetrated by women. Men and women are two different, yet equal, sexes. This means we are eq…

Dude listen, I am not going to argue over a fruitless discussion. Life is too dang short for this, literally it is. I hope you learn that female values are important. Not only for the family structure, but for civilization. Most of the important helping/caring professions are female-dominated. Western society is gynocentric, but it is not feminized. This is 2025 and in two months it is going to be 2026. Why are you still arguing over something that has been settled like years ago? Move on with l…

You are falling victim to the middle ground fallacy. No I am not! I refuse to be a male version of a radical feminist. Men deal with the outside world, that's why they're capitalist. Women deal with the family, that's why their socialist. Just as capitalism in the family would lead to children starving, socialism in the outside world also leads to bad results. I agree to a certain extent, but society needs socialism and capitalism to work together! There's socialism in the government and institu…

This "revolution" isn't saying it's feminine though. It's saying it's being feminized. Look, I get that the western society is gynocentric but that didn't make it a "feminized society". Gynocentricism and feminization are two different concepts. This is where I disagree, with the men's rights movement. Because a whole society cannot be feminized or masculized. It can be gynocentric. Which simply means society caters towards women. We see it in laws and the institutions.

Those fundamental values aren’t inherently harmful. It only becomes harmful when things become one-sided — when female-only values are treated as the standard. Both feminine and masculine values are important. We don’t want a feminized society, nor do we want a masculinized one. What we need is a balance of both. For a society to be successful, it must embrace a healthy mix of masculine and feminine qualities.

I agree with most men’s rights views, and I also agree that Western society is gynocentric. However, I think calling society “feminine” is a bit exaggerated. This sub shouldn’t become a “male version” of radical feminism. Western society may be gynocentric, but that doesn’t necessarily make it feminine. The whole idea of a “great feminization of society” sounds similar to what some feminists describe as the “great masculinization of society.” Why can’t men and women just get along? Both masculin…

If these "alpha men" stopped monitoring each other's behaviour in order to gain female approval, the entire system could collapse, as nothing would stop men from uniting and fighting for their rights. This mentality is therefore the foundation of all the other types of male betrayal. From the male feminist to the "Alpha male" celebrity, all of them stem from the basic premise that female approval is more valuable than male liberation. Most feminists often rely on strawman arguments that can dera…

Most feminists often rely on strawman arguments that can derail meaningful conversations and hinder real progress. Supporting men’s rights does not take away from women’s rights—it simply acknowledges that gender issues affect everyone. To illustrate this, imagine women currently have 10 pies and men have only 2. Egalitarians would say, “Both should have 10 pies,” aiming for equality. But feminists argue that women still need even more pies, while men's issues are either ignored or justified by …

idk abt girls, but you definitely are pretty bad at maths, You do know that the worst people who are bad at math on the extreme end are male, right?

Listen facts don't care about your feelings. Please don't be like a radical feminist; claiming that "men are superior to women". We already have feminists saying, that "women are superior". Don't scoop their level. On average, girls are better at language and reading. While, boys are better at science and math.

Yes. Warren was talking about the definition of the patrichary being misleading and he also says, that in many ways women have more power than men in western America. I like the PDF, and we should think of "power" or "privilege" as not only including legal power.

Men dominate at the extremes so generally they will be the best at almost everything but also the worst at everything. The best drivers are men AND the worst drivers are men. I object to that. Women are better at some things than men.

If you are a woman then you can use your voice to help bring awareness to men's issues. People are more likely to listen to a woman speaking about gender inequality than a man. Of course the average woman might not have power , but the elite women do.

This document discusses the concept of "patriarchy" as used by some feminists. It argues that the term is often undefined or defined in conflicting ways, referring variously to capitalism, Marxism, oppression of women, rule by men, and more. The document proposes a hypothetical model comparing 45 potential "powers" of two classes (X and Y) to examine claims about which gender has more power. It concludes that both genders have certain powers and responsibilities, so it is untrue to claim one gen…
