Take for example the recent issues regarding MRM talks at the University of Toronto. What could have been used as a stage to talk about issues facing both genders turned into an absolute disgrace. The vocal members of the feminist community fight back against anything that the MRM views as important, whether is is important or not. If a feminist agrees with the MRM on anything, they are now "helping the patriarchy." While most don't have this view in the feminist movement, this is what the general public sees.
