r/ hapas though. You're better off improving yourself to the highest degree than risking birthing sons with a complex that's basically impossible for them to overcome.

Home made cookies and store bought cookies will both make you fat. Don't eat any of that shit. Meat, veggies, fruit and cheese/yogurt/milk is all you should be eating. Corn syrup in store bought cookies won't affect you at all if you're eating it in moderation like a healthy person.

Seriously. Anyone else can do your job. No one else can be your children's mother. And why would you want them to be?

Refreshing to hear. After you have kids you can always decide to go back. More women should do kids first, college later (or never).

Things have changed. I was in college recently and in my geography and urban studies class, under the sociology department, (mid level) I questioned my ultra leftist teacher about whether or not capitalism created jobs and made people's lives better (at this time I was truly curious and had drawn no conclusions of my own yet), and I essentially was yelled at and told it didn't matter either way because the white man controlled capitalism and the black man suffered because of it. Something like t…

I totally agree. I don't WANT 50/50 in every profession no matter what. That's kind of the point, for me, in being an "antifeminist." I'm a stay at home mom and I'm probably more capable in a STEM field than most women I know, but I still wouldn't choose that path because it wouldn't be right for my family. When you have 50/50 in every profession, you have less women taking care of their own children.

there is right and wrong when it comes to art. hippies invented this "everything is subjective" mantra and the art establishment glommed onto it. not to be a party pooper but a lot of "weird art"/modernist drivel people seem to like only "like" it because the post modernists and art establishment essentially decided that this was now considered art. when the hippest/smartest person in the room (say, an art history prof who's written multiple books) says something outrageous/ugly is beautiful, we…

26! 26 is the age when fertility begins to slow down. I'm 23 and I have a 15 month old. I can't wait to have another, and another, and if I'd started at 28 and spaced them out 2 or so years, I might not be able to have all the babies I want. If you know you want kids, and you're with the right person, there is no reason to wait. You will only regret waiting. You'll never regret your children.

Yeah, keep in mind that these people are single. Married men will have slightly different (older) preferences, as long as their wives are still fit and attractive.

This woman is a psychopath. Yes, this is what men should worry about, but this I think is an extreme example. Or maybe they are both just completely oblivious and brainwashed. Look at her and her husband posing for the camera in an article about how she wishes she married someone else. What. The. Heck. No respect.

Their argument would be, Men get to be the chefs of the world (Gordon Ramsay) and women are expected to be the short order cooks of the world, which is unglamorous. And that's fine with me. When mothers and wives cook for their family, they're not trying to be Gordon Ramsay. They're feeding and nourishing their lives, an act of love, 3 times a day, at least, for decades. I'd rather cook my husband delicious and simple meals every day for the rest of my life than slave away trying to impress some…

What an idiot. "Why should we waste our time on a relationship?" If you think a relationship is a waste of time, you're never going to have one, and you don't deserve one. I don't understand why these women who spend all of their time of their careers (read: spending money) in their 20s expect to be on the same level as someone who has spent all her time improving herself and being the best partner she can. Men don't want to date men! They want to date women!

This is why men should work and women should stay home, in general. Women and men simply do not have the same standard to which they keep the home. Your husband should ABSOLUTELY be doing the housework, especially because this was his choice! That is what is fair in this situation. However, sadly, we cannot expect them to suddenly become housewives. It really really sucks but I think this is a growing pain of switching gender roles. Talk with him exactly as you've laid it out here. Make it about…

I have a friend in a similar situation, but she's only 22. This is her future, I think. She's about to go to law school, and has never had a boyfriend -- many a hook up, though. She has no idea what she's in for, and every time I casually mention something, she shuts down. She wants kids, but doesn't want to date in law school, only focus on her career. Law school is really hard, but still, she needs to find someone before she gradutes. I tried telling her that law school is her best bet because…

Hm... well, I still think it's click bait but I was reading on mobile and just looked on the web where I could see highest voted comments. They are pretty good comments, actually. And this writer is apparently a contributor from a voice for men, so that's something. In the recent past I've seen TC actually using anonymous troll accounts writing stuff like this, but this article is actually really good and people are responding somewhat positively to it! Woohoo!

Almost exclusively non fiction audiobooks or science/history podcasts. It's an easy way to maintain intellect while doing house/baby stuff, since I don't have too much time to sit down and read. I think this sub should put more emphasis on reading non fiction. Men love to be surprised by factoids or perspectives they're unfamiliar with by a woman, as long as she's doing it pleasantly/out of genuine interest/not trying to argue about anything silly, just make good conversation.

That's the whole point, really - a woman in her 30s can't very well marry a man her own age and be happy at this point. Most women are used to the best dudes throughout their 20s and are shocked when one doesn't want to marry her when she's past her prime. The best dudes in their 30s will be married already or looking to marry women 5 years younger at least. Of course there will be beta males left over to choose from, but the women who marry them usually end up divorced, thinking they deserve be…

Considering the novel was written at the height of the sexual revolution, would you say that making docile /submissive wives into evil robots is a metaphor? That's really what I'm getting at. Again, haven't read it, just saw the Kidman version when I was 14 lol
/r/RedPillWomen07/07/14 08:33 PM

I'm familiar with the story but I haven't, might have to! I do feel like people refer to woman they perceive to be "too perfect" as such, which is a way to make themselves feel better, to distinguish themselves, "They're robots, and I have a genuine personality," and that's counterproductive imho. The women referred to as stepford wives are not actually robots, obviously, they're real women who just put their husbands, children and beauty first, which is something almost anyone can do.

Again, agree totally. His tone sounds more robotic than what he's describing, usually he's funnier, more lighthearted but I think he's just not messing around here. Replace anyone else's routine in this essay with his list like tone and it'll sound just as "robotic".

I totally agree. I am also a tattooed nightmare, which is interesting because the author of this is a tattooed nightmare and his wife probably is too. She ss definitely punk rock at least, I've seen photos. Their family is badass and this isn't satire. Just goes to show you, you don't have to be a robot to have traditional gender roles, which is what people like to think must be the case... "Stepford Wife" is always a compliment as far as I'm concerned.

This sub is about maximizing happiness for women and their husbands. We aren't here to convince you of anything. You either haven't been in the work force long enough to realize that a career =/= happiness, or you're in denial because of the choices you have already made. Other women can do whatever they want, and society encourages them to do so today. Despite what I think of this and whether or not it's good for society, that's not what this sub is immediately concerned with. You can do whatev…

I mean... A woman who waits til after 30 to start looking for a man to start a family with isn't exactly doing so for the benefit of her future children. The woman's age is a far greater negative factor in fertility and health of the baby than the man's.

The choice is hers: Less time with a high quality man or more time with a lower quality man she won't respect as much and will probably divorce anyway. This is what everyone else is saying: Lower the expectations - in one way or another. Important to note: The least stressful you can possibly make your man's life (ie most redpill), the longer he'll live no matter how old he is when you marry him.

Marry a man 15-20 years her senior and hope his health prevails. This isn't a joke, my husband's aunt did this when she was 30. Now she's 50 and he's 76 and still kicking! He seems much younger than he is, too, maybe because of her. So it's a win win, mostly. Once you're in a relationship/married, they're all the same so just follow all the rest of the advice you see here. In short, be sweet, attentive, respectful and stay as beautiful as possible.

Just fyi I recently read that even though your foundation has SPF in it, you would have to apply way, way more than the average person does when applying foundation, so you're better off just applying a dollop of sunscreen first. Kind of annoying but worth it. The SPF in foundation is kind of a misleading concept, it's probably enough in the winter, but not in spring summer or fall. :-/

She is in the minority of hyper masculine women. Either that, or she's convinced herself this is so because she focused too much on her career at the onset (she is a boss, after all) and can't turn back now in fear of having made the wrong choice. Working for her is a major part of her identity and it seems a firmer part than wife and mother perhaps. If this is true, then I'm sad for her. And it sounds like her kids are big kids, (she is a boss, again, so I'm assuming she's older), which is also…

I don't buy this. I see these people falling into two categories: People who are too poor to have kids, period, no matter what, and people who waited a long time to have kids and have enjoyed DINK (double income, no kids) status for way too long and don't want to give up on their extravagant lifestyles -- houses that can only be paid for with 2 incomes, cable bills, iPhone bills, etc, etc. I say this as a working-class stay at home mom who enjoys a high quality of living, while far below the ave…

Pretty good article, for the most part. I especially like how she emphasized that she stays at home not necessarily for her kids, but for herself. Personally, the most well-adjusted people I know had SAHMs, but that's not the point. I'm so tired of hearing working moms say they need to get back to work "for their sanity." I'm tired of hearing SAHMs defend themselves (myself included), for their choice saying, "I actually couldn't afford to work," or, "It's cheaper to stay home, over all," as if …

This is really great to hear, can't tell you how happy I am for you. Making a house feel like a home, as cliche as that sounds, is the best thing a mom can do for her family in so many ways, as you see how much it's helped you! Good for her and your family.

GREAT comment. Can you give any examples of RP movies and books? Super curious what other people think, personally I see a LOT of BP media, but I have only been RP for about a year and during this time I've been caring for my 1 year old so I'm kind of out of the loop, especially with everyone I know being BP. I see. Maybe it's not as bad as I thought. Hard to say really. However, you do need to get over the crush. The best way to do that is find someone else! You sound like quite a catch, actually, so you shouldn't have trouble! Once you start dating someone, see how much you still crave his attention. It should be 0%, and if it's not, you have to cut him off.

I hear you. I guess my point there was, It doesn't really seem like you guys have a real friendship. This is totally just my impression from the few posts you just made, but this is how an outsider sees it. It seems to me he is taking advantage of you, and the toll it will take on your self worth (in turn, SMV) is not going to be worth it. Are you physically fit? That goes a really, really long way to improving your looks.

/r/RedPillWomen19/05/14 12:21 PM

No. They can't. You will only lower your SMV further by resigning to yourself that he's too good for you. The longer you hang around that, the worse it shows on your face, in your hair. It has an insidious way of infecting you and your self-worth.
/r/RedPillWomen19/05/14 12:17 PM

I'm sorry but unless you are a troll living under a bridge, there is no 18 year old girl (especially a virgin) whose SMV is lower than a 19 year old dude's. Stop "trying" to work on your self improvement and just do it. Women can always be prettier, and always be more fit. Do it up. Maybe you don't see him for a few months and then BAM! hit him in the face with your hotness and new found confidence.

Yeah, absolutely, but that's not what I mean here. Short-term hypergamy is what ultimately leads to bad marriages and should be avoided at all costs.

She shouldn't marry beneath her, she ought to marry her approximate equal or someone alpha to her. This is natural. This is the healthy marriage. Despite what you read on TRP, hypergamy is somewhat "okay" -- thinking about it in such scientific ways makes it seem ugly, but it really isn't. It's nature's way of passing along the best genes to future generations. Men naturally crave women more, sexually, so they'll be happier with the woman they end up with, thinking he's the lucky one (not that h…

Hehe yeah, I've found that my husband doesn't appreciate when I dress sexy "for him" when we go out, only at home, because when we're out, other people see me! It's better (and shows more aptitude with style imho) to find clothes that flatter your figure rather than show it off to wear in public. My SO is somewhat similar, especially about make up. I don't have a tomboyish nature/core though, but he likes that side of me anyway. Not to mention that writing in a real, private diary is a worthwhile pursuit, and that of a quality lady. Not pandering to a bunch of randos, but actually putting your true thoughts on paper in a meaningful way (which is not actually easy to do), while using proper grammar and spelling, will seriously boost your brain power and improve your writing.

There is nothing more important than being physically attractive when it comes to attracting a man. No guy is going to care if you're strong or capable now. Your husband 20 years down the road will, but not initially.
