Regarding Serbia, the decision is not yet final. It could just be a distraction by the current president due to other problems in the country. Like how politicians start wars to boost their ratings. Serbia is too small to start a war with anyone around (since all neighbors are NATO aligned) so starting mandatory military service is close second.

Parking spots are for parking vehicles, not for loitering. If you don't have a vehicle to park, gtfo of the spot. Same for sidewalks or roads. Those are also public spaces with specific uses. You can't just set up a tent on a road or a sidewalk and think that's okay.

Even if she doesn't, she'll probably claim she's the real victim here as she lost her husband. Like how main victims of wars are women who lose their significant others. /s

Getting someone to go on a hike as a first date is really difficult IMO. Middle of nowhere in a forest with a stranger scares a lot of women. Or maybe it's just me...

she absolutely was/is Is. You can't cure narcissism. It's ingrained into their personality from an early age, through neglect, abuse etc. You can only help them learn how to behave better but it will always be there.

I really hope those properties are in your name, at least partially. If they are in her parent's name, you'll be screwed over in the case of a divorce.
/r/MensRights20/06/22 04:48 PM
4

Sorry to hear that. Dealing with narcississ is a pain, living with one must be hell. If she was not one, you could argue her family's contribution can be evaluated against your work. Unless they gave you millions (in which case why do you work), your work possibility already produced more value than the initial seed money from them. She can't expect not to contribute forever just because of that money.

Depends how much are damages. If he got the better job instead of the woman, it's fair to assume he would have had a better career and possibly went even higher up. It's hard to evaluate these what-ifs.

Where I made the biggest mistake? It was marrying her, this is clear to me. In another comment below you said the biggest mistake was bringing her to Spain. Now it's marrying her. It seems you don't want to admit that not providing and pimping her out on Instagram were probably the two biggest mistakes. You said you didn't invest money in her but also said she couldn't get the lifestyle she has before Covid made her depressed. So providing was a factor.
/r/askTRP22/06/21 12:53 PM

Your biggest mistake is instagram. Agreed. She could have be an Instagram model from Budapest as well.

P.s. perhaps she grew up near Kiev and got dosed with radiation from Chernobyl. It's as good an explanation as any. She was born 3yrs after Chernobyl. There might be some residual radiation in Ukraine but the biggest effects were on people living in the area when the disaster happened and immediately after (contaminated food).

I do a lot of simracing: while my heart rate goes up from excitement, it's not that physical at all. I would say it's 99% skill. why do women need to compete separately from men This article is not about women competing separately: it's about women getting a guaranteed spot in a competition that is open to all genders, potentially giving preference over a more talented male.
/r/MensRights12/04/21 05:38 PM
4

If I understand what I read correctly, they created a new female only competition just to see if they can get more women in it. No, there's no female only competition for F1 esports, probably as it's not nearly as physical as actually driving a real car. It's pure skill. A real life women only single seater series does exist already. What they did for esports is have one guaranteed spot for a female even if there are faster males.

Like how women were most affected during wars because their husbands died. More than men who... died?
/r/MensRights23/12/20 07:10 PM
54

Was the second to last paragraph not obvious without being explicitly stated? Do women feel it's ok to use things said in confidence against people who said them?
/r/MensRights23/12/20 04:36 PM
5

Read the article. Council members are still pushing for more women irrespective of their qualifications
/r/MensRights16/12/20 07:11 AM
31

Did you read the article? Council members explicitly stated they want to hire even more women now that they are over the parity. This is obviously not a case of merit based hiring.
/r/MensRights15/12/20 08:11 PM
71

Sure, but this is not the case here. If you actually read the article, you would have known that city council is pushing for more women in management positions based on their gender, not their qualifications: “Yes, to one day achieve parity, we must speed up the tempo and ensure that more women are appointed than men,” City council member

Choosing a person for an apartment is different as that could lead to discrimination by landlords. They are not forcing you to rent to foreigners, they are preventing you from not renting to foreigners.

How is it an overkill if someone has already shot you? Doesn't matter if it's in the foot. Maybe they missed or are sadists. Their next move could be to shoot you in the head, as they already demonstrated they are willing to shoot you. Are you willing to take a chance risking your life? Doesn't matter if the attacker is a man or a woman.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/09/19 05:48 PM

No, you shoot them with the intention to eliminate the threat because they demonstrated they want to seriously hurt you/kill you.

You should have a Bsc in computer science or software engineering. Plenty of people are successful without those but they have years of experience. You should be reasonably smart. West coast is where high paying jobs (starting $120k at top tech companies, going to $250-350k for seniors) are mostly located. There are pockets on the east coast with the same.
/r/askTRP19/04/19 04:20 PM

While I agree with most of what you wrote here, there are still jobs that can make you financially independent if you're good at them. One of which is tech: fresh grads get $120-150k/yr and seniors can get $300k+ at big tech companies. Savings can grow pretty fast with that kind of income if you're not wasting your money.

You said the guy was a friend of hers. Now you say he sent a weird video to a client. Was she a client or a friend?
/r/askTRP27/01/19 01:48 AM

I wouldn't do that as it's probably illegal, the same way posting revenge porn is illegal. Even if OP decides to go this route, a fake account can still be traced, unless you use something like Tor.

Why would you complain to his boss? Even if he was fucking your fiance while you were together, that's not illegal or against any company rules. And you said she was his friend, not a client. If you want to screw him over, just quietly cancel the insurance policy, but not at a loss for yourself.

One time cost is high for electric shavers but they last forever. I had 2 shavers that lasted 10yrs and I upgraded just because I wanted something better and batteries were becoming weak. So on a $100 Arc5 it's only $10/yr for the shaver itself (it includes first 1.5-2yrs of blade/foil combo). Braun 7 series blade/foil combo is $25 when on sale, while Arc5 is $35 when on sale (has 5 blades vs Braun's 3). Assuming you replace blade/foil every 18 months (might stretch to 2yrs), that's $26-$33/yr f…

I have a Braun 760cc but I'm switching to Panasonic Arc5 (sometimes it goes to $100 on Amazon). Braun is not what it used to be anymore. And the brand is owned by P&G though it's manufactured and sold by DeLonghi who lease the rights to the brand from P&G.

What's wrong with electric shavers? Top of the line shavers can be bought for $100 or less when on sale. New blades are around $30 when on sale and they last up to two years.

Then you can end his lease, though that can get messy if he wants to be a jerk and stops paying while still living at your place.

You should communicate this to your roommate. He knew you don't want to live with couples and now you do for 40% of the time. If he's not cooperative, find a new place to live (lease agreements permitting), you're not married.
/r/askTRP02/01/19 05:59 PM

This is more a personal finance question. Personally, I would be ok with 1 day per week as a courtesy to your roommate. Or they could even alternate his and hers place so it's only 1 in 2 weeks. 3/7 is way too much for an arrangement that didn't include her. Talk to your roommate and find a solution. Share of utilities/rent if he wants to keep 3/7 ratio and you're ok with this.

No, the girl. One of narcissistic behaviors is idealization early in the relationship in order to hook you to her. After that, devaluation starts. At the end, you're discarded. Read about it.

Remove people from your life from back then, find a new social group to hang out with. Move cities if necessary and possible. Edit: missed the part of being in 9th grade still, so my advice is not that easy to implement. I guess the best advice would be to just behave like you were always a 7, not a 4. "Fake it till you make it", just that you don't need to fake it, you are a 7.

It all depends on how much cheaper low COL area is and how much lower are the salaries. $250k in Durham is much better than $300k in Bay area, but $150k probably is not.

Software engineering can get you hundreds of thousands per year for senior roles if you're good and you can find companies where you don't need to work for more than 8hrs/day. You would need to live in SF Bay area/NYC/Seattle as salaries are not comparable everywhere. B.Sc is often enough and some engineers don't even have a degree (rare though).

Are you sure she's not a narcissist? Sounds like you caused her a narcissistic injury by leaving. That's like a death sentence to narcissist. They need to be in control in order to feel they are not the worthless piece of crap they are. Also, she used triangulation by bringing another guy to confront you. Narcissist love to do that to feel they are worth something.

It can be rough dealing with a narcissist if you're not aware what's going on. Thankfully, there are a lot of resources on this topic and how to deal with it. The tricky parts are realizing you're actually dealing with a narcissist as well as going no contact. Unfortunately, there's not much chance you can fix a narcissist as they don't think they are doing anything wrong.

In big tech centers (NorCal, Seattle) 100k is bare bone starting salary. With stocks, should be at least 120k, probably a lot more at Facebook and Google. It's ridiculous but it makes sense: computer science jobs are automating other jobs so there's more of a pie going to programmers
