Excellent point. I guess if she wants to be angry she can be angry but I just can't let it affect me, as opposed to participating in the usual guilt-trip.

Thank you. You're right, it is. A&A is the only possible solution now that all the other things I've tried have fallen flat.

We have extremely comparable SMV, hers is a touch higher just by merit of being a woman (or her value is just more obvious, seeing as guys approach girls and not the other way around), but she's definitely not below me. Sex is amazing and extremely frequent, initiated by her at least as often as by me. She is absolutely convinced I have higher options, and she knows she's the first girl to lock me down and I never had anything serious before her (meanwhile she's a serial-relationship girl, never…

I've tried similar but it just turns into a huge fight. I think I didn't set the scene correctly: She and I and her brother are at a restaurant. She texts me "why are you looking at that girl?" sitting at a table across from us. I said I didn't know I was, I'm sorry. By now she's fuming and in a rage. Any form of denial or attempt to show her she's the center of my attention infuriates her. I used to just put my arms around her and tell her she's beautiful/I loved her, and she'd get extremely an…

Thanks, very insightful. Hadn't heard of princess syndrome but it's definitely that. She's used to getting into VIP sections free and with me she's always a little peeved we have to wait in line and pay (or just not be VIP), that sort of thing. I'm working on rebuilding my frame, asking myself before each action: "Is this for me or for her?" And you're right. She started out helpful but over the months it's definitely turned to disdain. I need to reverse the dynamic. The LTR question is a good o…

Excellent point. She always did pay her part, her main money stress actually comes from helping her family with bills and she's kind of been projecting that on me. You are right though: she's a taker.

She actually earns more than I do. And it took months before she started being discontent. She kept trying to pay my bills/rent but I wouldn't let her because that's a path I won't go down. Isn't it typical for women to lose attraction as the man stops performing? I admit I went from 6 figure job and a nice apartment to no furniture, no money, less muscle, and more beta behaviors (I'd been tiptoeing around her and trying to make her happy instead of pursuing my own goals). Does it still sounds l…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
