It does prove that women can be conscripted, but I am not saying that women haven't ever or shouldn't ever be conscripted. The fact that something exists due to biology doesn’t mean that it is moral or correct. I’m not saying that it is good for women to be excluded from conscription due to their biology, but it does at least help to explain why it is the case. Since only women are capable of giving birth to children it is unlikely that women in general will ever be required to serve in the military. Women are the bottleneck in human reproduction (it's not a fault, rather a reality of sexual reproduction) and so are more valued and cherished by societies.
