I've heard this before, yes. Once a guy hits a certain level of attractiveness, they can get what they want from a variety of women. This can remove the ability of women to set the pace of the relationship. He may still be into a girl, but playing hard to get is no longer a card in her deck.

I'm a strong believer that the idea of being sexually desirable is more important than the actual "act" of having sex. Yeah, no. Just no. I can see his point. I'm not going to nut in every rando that wants her shot but I am going to flirt with everyone and enjoy the attention. That said, if I had to pick only one it would be sex.

Instead of looking at anecdotes of short/fat/ugly guys that do well and trying to prove that the norm, lookat it this way. A guy says "my wife and I don't have sex anymore. She says it's just not important to her". Is the guy that says this EVER a tall handsome guy that's in great shape? It's not. Ever. If the situation starts, one of two things will happen. Either one, the wife will say "yeah someone else is going to snatch this guy up in a heartbeat if I don't put out" or two, someone else sna…

Online interactions are strange like that but I wouldn't take it as gospel. Sure, some fat old woman may have more messages on an online platform but to translate that into any kind of real interaction will dry them up immediately. Discretion and experience. If I said "oh baby I will eat your pussy until you cum 10 times" a girl would rightfully assume I have no experience because people that do have experience wouldn't say something like that. Now if I jokingly said "ah I'd probably just roll over and go to sleep afterwards. Hey, you look all pent up. What's wrong?" It would show understanding of issues women face with casual sex. You don't need to be great in bed, but you do need to be have some experience and a basic kn…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 01:48 AM

Just like a good body, it's not something that can be built overnight. You need to always be building your social circle. You have to do 'basic' things like be on social media or act friendly with people you sometimes disagree with and learn how to have a conversation about topics you don't care about. It's work. When you have a lot of friends, you'll have a lot of party invites. You're right, you will blow it if you run through a party and hit on every hot girl there in the first 10 minutes. Yo…

I get what you're saying, but you gotta push through that and put yourself out there more. If you aren't the hottest guy in the room it doesn't mean you aren't noticed. You might have to try harder to start interactions and you want always get the same response other guys do, but you have to push through that voice that tells you not to and keep yourself active in he social scene.

You're acting like I'm laying down some scathing criticism. I'm not. Are you trying to deny that when women's casual sex is discovered (by men or women), that women don't frequently deflect their agency so as not to seem like a slut? I mean, come on. You know it happens. Maybe you do it, maybe you don't, I don't know and I don't care. I'm making the claim that it's out there and it's common. I'm surprised to see all the disagreement from guys here. OP is literally saying the same thing that rp has been saying for years but when it comes from a woman it's somehow suspect? Yes, there does seem to be some deflecting of responsibility by blaming it on the environment instead of making an active decision, but she's not wrong. That's the nature of these things and casual sex encounters and a lot of other things. Are you more likely to make an active decision to buy a car sitting at home o…

Oh come on. "It just happened" is an extremely common justification to casual sex being discovered. I'm not judging. Women can do whatever they want. But don't pretend nobody says "it just happened" when confronted.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 07:39 PM
16

Sorry man. I get what you are saying but even as a rp guy what she is saying is true. Is there a lack of agency? Yeah, maybe. Doesn't make a difference. Women say all the time "it just happened". Watch what they are doing if they are willing to show you, and in this case, they are.

That's good. You're more set up for a stable relationship that way. It's mostly a difference in lifestyle and expectations. Again, I am discrete about money but made the mistake of mentioning my credit cards were set to auto pay. The girl at the time was confused by this because she had never paid a credit card in full at the end of the month, such a thing was unheard of to her. When a man finds a different type of woman attractive at 18 vs 30, you let me know. The thing is that we objectively know that women are capable of x, y, and z. Yet somehow, when it's our own relationships, men put on the "women are wonderful" goggles and miss giant red flags. So we tell men "all women are like that". Yes, even her. No, seriously, even her, yes. Yes she is like that. That doesn't mean that all women are going to cheat if given the same situation. It means that all women will sha…

Money changes people. This isn't some criticism of women or trp sidebar material. It's just human nature. Different people will have different reactions but you won't know until it happens. I've had to cut many people out of my life when they find out I have significant holdings, both romantic and platonic, both men and women. Why do you keep bringing up women dating in college as a comparison to women in their late 20s dating older men? Nobody is arguing that women are trying to find meaningful relationships when they are young. Nobody is saying they won't get the relationship they want that way. What I am saying is that when they reset the clock past 25 suddenly they are more willing to date older men. (which is difficult when your brain isn't even developed fully lmao, Never with the personal responsibility.

i know many women who are seriously dating (my close friends for one), they are with decent to good looking men closer to our age who are relationship minded. I don't disagree. The preferred option is someone on your level that is relationship minded. What happens if they break up though? Let's say she's 29 and wants to get back out there. If she found Mr right on day 1, you're still looking at a year or two before you are married and having kids, putting you at 31-32. If that relationship falls…

We don’t have a lot of women at 20 years old holding out for a middle age man to marry and have kids with. Holding out for? No. Accepting? All the time. As much as anecdotes aren't data, I can think of 5 examples off the top of my head of girls that dated their own age from 16-28, and when their most recent relationship dissolved they jumped 10 years to a guy in his mid 30s. 6 months later they are engaged, then a year later she is pregnant. When women start running out of time on the clock they…

If you assume an egalitarian relationship then large age differences are not the norm. Unfortunately egalitarian relationships are not the status quo. Some men don't like the idea of paying for women's company and try to play the game on their own terms. Other guys just accept it and try to be efficient about it. The thing is, if you've accepted that you have to throw money at the problem, then you might as well get something for it and the willingness of younger women to enter relationships wit…

Some girls can still be attractive even on the heavier side and make up for it by being excellent in bed. The guy might be borderline on the idea but gives it a shot. Comfort and familiarity take over while the girl gets huge. When I say 'barely fuckable' I'm not talking about a 2. I'm talking about a 5 that cleans up to a 7.

Depends on how happy they look. Some mismatched couples seem totally into each other. Some....not so much. The hot girls with ugly rich dudes that seem really unhappy are almost always looking for something discreet on the side. When it's an attractive guy with a fat girl it's almost always that she started the relationship in a barely fuckable state and rapidly let herself go.

I wouldn't say that's an untrue insecurity. Women have immensely more options for excitement at 18-25 from a variety of men than the average 18-25 year old man can provide.

I think we should separate the word attractive from arousing. I am 'attracted' to nice and pleasant people because it's enjoyable to be around them, but I'm not aroused by them. I can be aroused by unpleasant but hot people. The word 'attractive' is often used in the incorrect context.

Its the elephant in the room that can only be discussed during purge week. If people are allowed to discuss how they really feel, it will rapidly slide downhill into "ew, short Indian guys? Gross!" If you see someone that you can tell will never be successful with women - what would the better outcome for them be? To tell them they will never be successful and that they are doomed to a life as an outsider to romantic relationships, or keep them on the hamster wheel with false hope? Giving incels false hope is what keeps them all rowing in the same direction.

No. I'm saying that the statistic I saw last was that 15% of the population (both men and women) are on antidepressants. Anecdotally, the vast majority of people I know on antidepressants are women. I don't have a statistic, but now you've made me curious, so I'll see if I can find one. I estimate 75% of people on antidepressants are women, not men. So going back to the population as a whole, I'm guessing 20-25% of all women are on antidepressants.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/20 01:55 PM

its amazing how many women are on antidepressants and have 0 sex drive. Its a lot. Something like 15% of the population is on antidepressants, and its not an even 50/50 split between men and women. Its probably closer to 20-25% of women. Yikes.

I wasn't implying that women don't like military men, but I can see how I worded that poorly. I meant military men might be more open to the idea of paying for sex, especially when abroad.

I think being 5'4" and foreign is going to hugely bias your results, as is a military background. I would say your experience is not reflected at all for white middle class guys in a college environment. My guess is that prostitution is more common with guys whose lifestyle doesn't have a large window for interacting with women. When I was in college I flirted with girls all day every day. If I was on a ship and had 3 days of shore leave in 3 months it might be a different story.

It can be either. A lot of uninteresting, basic, dull women get a free pass on friendships because they are pretty or sexual and guys want to fuck them. If fucking is off the table, then their value plummets because they suck at being a good person otherwise. Some women are genuinely good people, and fun of their own accord. /r/PurplePillDebate26/02/20 02:57 PM
6

Why is that a requirement? If you are hot, in shape, and have your shit together, you're going to strongly attract girls (groundbreaking news, I know). Girls in their late 20s and early 30s that are looking to check out of the game and find a long term partner even moreso. It's just a fact of life that even if you are upfront that you arent looking for anything serious, girls are going to latch on and be hurt when you arent looking for what they are looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/20 02:53 PM
28

If you're looking for a lot of partners and dont mind breaking a few hearts along the way, this is a valid strategy. That said, if/when you get bored of it and want to pick someone for the long haul, you're going to be picking from the leftovers unless you can snag a younger one (which is possible).

Maybe if he is mid level and she is high. It also depends onw at she means by 'freely given'. Gives to her what he refuses other girls after some vetting? Maybe. Folds like a cheap suit and offers to be exclusive right away? Not going to happen if they are on the same level.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 01:56 PM

If you are both on the same level, then hes not going to give you something freely he would withhold from other women. You would have to be significantly above his value for that. Now, if you're both on the same level, he may eventually give you commitment after hes vetted you out, but that's going to imply some compromise on your part as well. Hes nor just going to fold and do things your way if you're on the same level.

Look, either you want to have fun, party, do some fucking, and be a pleasant person to be around or you don't. Its not that complicated. You do those things and men really have no problem treating you like a human being, doing nice things for you, and spending lots of time with you. Its fun if we like you. If you want sex to be a reward for good behavior, you're going to get guys that see sex as a reward. Good luck trying to make a relationship out of that dumpster fire. Meanwhile those of us ac…

Its kinda like OPEC in the 90s. "Alright guys, so we're all gonna cut production, right? And thats gonna drive up the price, and then we ALL make more money. Everyone got it ?" "Got it". Then everyone immediately goes out and ramps up production thinking theyre the only ones doing it.

Your early to mid 30s is a risky time as a high value man. You are a prime target for women running out of time that want to lock down a good guy to have kids with. You wont trust anyone. No it isn't. There were countless times on askTRP where the whole community addressed these dudes that didn't know this, for whatever reason. So no, it's not universal as if men needed permission to leave a cunty woman. These women have the same issue. It obviously makes sense WHEN you have a red perspective to it. Not when it's blue; hence why they find themselves at TRP. I'm a bit confused by what you are saying here. Are you saying that men knew they could leave bad women? Or men did not know…

I wonder when blue pill will ever entertain the idea that women can be morally questionable to their standards. Oh sure they admit it. Other women. Never the women that are part of the discussion or topic right now. In theory, there might be one damaged woman, somewhere. Totally rare, one in a billion. Probably doesnt even really exist. And if she does, it's because she was abused by her ex. So still mens fault.

TRP had to be an unpalatable message so it made it to the target audience without being watered down or intercepted. "If you are unhappy in a relationship, you should leave. You deserve to be happy." Nothing controversial there, right? Totally universal to both sexes. If I put this on r/relationships or r/sex you'd get a thousand upvotes. "I'm unhappy in my relationship. Thicc has a wide range of definitions. I'm not sure I'd call the girl on the left thicc but I can see how her proportions are 'better' than the girl on the right. Regardless, when guys say they like a girl that's 'thicker' I dont think they're talking about either of these girls and if you called the girl on the left thick I think shed be insulted. What guys mean is they like girls that arent in the 'untouchable' category because, obviously, those girls are out of reach.

Why are you assuming I am doing these things to meet women? You are the one that brought that up, not me. Maybe I lift weights and then do other things. Maybe all I do is lift weights and that works for me. Maybe my exercise plan is something I've been refining for years and I know what works best. Or is lifting weights automatically bad just because trp says that its good?

Simps are the pickmes of men, and they bring the market value of dick lower than the dirt price it already is. They're trying to sell dick, which has no value. Its men that have value.

There have been several articles discussed on here where women say that a less muscular body is less intimidating. The first one I grabbed off of google said this (then went into a tirade about how fat women are dumped on and wah wah wah....) I dont know why, in the context of this discussion, women always bring up 'bodybuilders' that take it too far. Men in fantastic, unquestionably good shape are already a minority. Men who overtrain to hulk levels? 1 in a million. Where are you finding these …

Incompatible with you, possibly. You dont get to determine value, as value is determined by all of the women men interact with, not just you. If a painter says "I am the best, so i charge a lot of money for painting", the fact that you dont want to pay his rates has no reflection of his value. If nobody paid what he was asking, then sure, he is unrealistic. If it's just you though, then you're just cheap. Was the guy high value to other girls? Who knows. Doesnt matter, hes gone now.

Porn is their "eject from relationship on the moral high ground for free" card, or at least, they think it is. Since all guys watch porn, any time the relationship is headed south, they'll just pull the 'porn' card and eject and then they don't have to face any judgement or criticism for yet another failed relationship. It can't be HER fault, because, you know, porn. Its the relationship equivalent of "you cant fire me! I quit!"

Most women have a a few boyfriends interspersed with some casual sex, often with repeat customers. They may be getting "heavily dicked" but it's by fewer dicks than you think. I buy this. That said, you have to look at it in the context of the guy its applied to. While girls sexual history is more evenly distributed, guys sexual experiences are unevenly distributed with the top 20% having the lions share of it. So take this hypothetical girl who is having a few relationships, a few one night sta…

Most women on that sub are single because their standards are through the roof. Most women on there are single because they are insufferable to be around. They then pretend their standards are exceptionally high as validation for being alone. Neckbeards do the same thing.

Nobody 'prefers' chubby girls, Chad or not. Two caveats- 1 - chubbier girls can be a lot more laid back about sex, be into some crazy fun kinks, and have a much more 'carefree' attitude when it comes to sex as opposed to some pretty girls that use their body as social currency. 2 - some heavier girls get lucky and can still look good and have great sex appeal despite the extra weight (not due to it). Key word is some.

For the most part no. I make a solid income, so if she made a little more than me it wouldnt be a big deal. If she made a lot more than me, it would be a totally different lifestyle/background that would put her in the ultra wealthy category, and that could have some impact, but more due to the difference in social circles and family expectations than any self-worth issue.

Your advice falls flat for several reasons. Clothing and hair are a 1-3 day investment. An active lifestyle and a toned body take months, if not years, to generate. Theres no step 1 or step 3 here. >Didn't we already establish that women only consider 20% of guys attractive while men have a more even distribution of female attractiveness? At some point, it opens up the question of when the 'average' or even what is available isn't an improvement over just staying hobe and jacking it/rubbing it. If I got stranded on an island with all gay dudes, or obese women, it doesn't matter what the objective 'average' attractiveness of people is if I don't want any of them.

I'm not sure what the official definitions are, but to me a whore is someone that offers sex to someone they dont want to have sex with in exchange for something valuable, like cash or drugs. A slut is someone that has sex with a lot of people, possibly indiscriminately. If you're just having sex with a lot of guys for fun, I guess I'd call that slutty, though I just consider it a label. Which complicates things and honestly makes women uncomfortable. In my experience it correlates with the woman working or not. The women that dont work take motherhood super seriously and feel it's their duty to handle the bulk of the childcare. For the women that do work, most men I know are very willing to handle childcare.

Last statistics I saw said men are more involved in childcare than they were years ago. It often comes down to whether or not the mother works. Agreed, but only if the women are hot enough/good enough partners. Mid level, nagging personality type women have a harder time getting men to commit to them as they'll be the ones pumped and dumped. In the end, it's for the better, as it forces those women to improve their game and work on their resume past 'has vagina'.

Negative. I have seen a huge uptick in the number of couples where neither side wants to be married and both for the same reason - marriage breeds complacency. Complacency kills couples. Relationships flourish when both sides are challenged to go outside of their comfort zone. When a partner cant leave, the incentive to challenge yourself is reduced. That's not good for either one.

I think it's a combination of partner attractiveness and hormone changes that reaches a critical mass and "use it or lose it" takes over, then it becomes too hard to go back. It would make things a lot worse. Unfortunately we can either have truth or stability, and most people.choose stability. Possibly after a period of correction things may even out and we will have more stability in the future, but the dual mating strategy has been going on for a long time.

It's going to get worse before it gets better, and the state is typically very short sighted due to election terms being a few years. Doesn't matter though. Eventually they'll be analyzing the DNA of every kid for disease/health risks and the paternity issue will sneak in the back. Ask any doctor today how to best screen for cancer/heart disease risk and it's always 'family history'.

That’s why I never ever “like” posts from women. Same, assuming the post is just a selfie looking for attention. I have no problem liking posts that I would also like if one of my guy friends were doing the same thing. Where I am from, pretty girls often post photos on fishing boats holding up what they caught as a very thinly veiled way of taking bikini photos and posting them on fb/ig. A friend of mine did one holding up a dolphin (fish, not mammal) with the caption 'went fishing' and one of t…

Unfortunately, both genders suffer from commoditization and oversupply of what they are selling. Men would have to form a validation cartel to slow the rate of validation leaving, increasing the price. Much like OPEC, it works in theory, until one person thinks theyve got a chance to score and starts supplying on the side. Then everybody does it. In the same manner, the price of pussy is set the same way. Sure, some women want all women to join together and go on a sex strike until they get what…

It's not the sex for money part that's the red flag. The red flag is that you will always question how they view your relationship. If you met a guy that made a bunch of money at a previous job, but was routinely investigated for not being truthful about where money was coming from or going to, would you trust him to run your household finances? Sex workers sell the illusion that they are sexually interested in you. I am not interested in having a relationship with that type of person, nor am I …

Have you seen the guys that the men of PPD post as what they think women want? It's insane I dont disagree. However, those threads are the result of the posters not understanding the inconsistency in communicating with women on the topic, and attempting to force the point by using an over the top example. In my experience, women who say they 'dont like muscley guys' all have soft, fat husbands/boyfriends and are attempting to defuse a potentially difficult situation. Attractive women with guys i…

This. 50 years ago the implied agreement was 'we get married, you fuck'. Today that is changing and the requirement for wives to fuck their husbands is still a selling point of marriage but not part of the deal. It will be interesting if it ever comes to a head and the message becomes explicit that 'marriage doesn't imply sex'. It will be a quick end to marriage as the status quo.

Negative. Despite what you want to believe regarding 'the laws', single parenthood of either gender is not a winning move. Daycare is crazy expensive, and the only significant winning move is to put 2 earners in 1 household or have one person care for the kids while the other works. Otherwise the math just doesn't work out. The only women this works for are in the top 10% of earners and those aren't the women having unwanted children.

Youre missing the point, or being purposefully ignorant, im not sure which. Didnt you want to marry this guy previously? If he had proposed marriage before cohabitation, would you not have said yes? It sounds like youre just pussed that your religious purity is tarnished and the ramifications of a terrible marriage are secondary.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/19 04:48 PM
3

Thats all valid criticism of cohabitating, but none of that addresses my question. If you felt "trapped" by cohabitating, how is marrying someone you dont like not going to result in the same, but worse?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/19 04:03 PM

I think the disconnect between the oft repeated platitudes that women give to dismiss people, like "I just want a guy thats nice" or "I like nerdy guys" and then go show behavior that belies their original statement causes men to not trust anything women say about the subject. So when women speak the truth, they are not believed.

> The party boy is attractive for the girls who have similar lifestyle. Do you ever see women admit openly that this is the kind of man they are looking for, even on a a short term basis? I don't. Privately, sometimes. But never openly.

I think extreme top tier billionaires receive an opposite response from most middle class women. Saying you would love to get with Al Harrington of the Harrington Toyota dealership that you met once at a company lunch leaves some benefit of the doubt. Saying you want to get with Elon Musk just makes you look like a gold digger.

On my local town facebook for sale group, a woman posted up that she wanted a free car, and asked if someone had an old one that they were going to trade in that they could donate to her instead. A few people offered older cars, most of which needed a lot of work, which she immediately scoffed at for not being nice enough. I told her it was in poor taste to ask people for a free car, and unrealistic to expect a nice, free car. Immediately, team woman jumped all over me for saying that, because ap…

This is true. But if you try to solve the problem working on the understanding that the 'ideal sexual scenario' for men is to get married and kowtow to all of your wifes demands so she is happy, you wont have a lot of sex while married. Understanding all of the boundaries is the first step.

I mean, it is convenient, just not for men. Or at least it isn't anymore. Its just convenient for women, and society as a whole. 100 years ago a man was entitled to a womans body in marriage. Now, we don't consider that to be part of the contract anymore. Unsurprisingly, men that aren't interested in raising a family or are just deadbeats that don't want to work are opting out of marriage. It isn't rocket science.

I think women are more likely to just "put the tv on" on some channel and leave it on, watching whatever is broadcast. Men more actively hunt for the specific content they want to watch which increasingly is offered on demand and without commercials. Yes, really. If you define a "relationship" as all of the things a man does to appease women, and her having the option of having sex with him or, more realistically, pushing him off to the side in favor of men shes more attracted to, then yes, the redpill teaches men to toss that in the trash because men dont want that. If you define a relationship as mutual sexual attraction, then no.

I dont think you could be any more wrong. Theredpill teaches men not to be led around by the false promise of pussy that would never come to pass, and focus on things that actually lead to real sex. If you come to the conclusion that you are operating at a level that will never generate sex, then you need to improve yourself and come back later and try with an improved skill set. To give up is weakness.
