What about the guy that did it? I feel like there should be more of a focus on him

Idk I think people get self esteem from sources and people that they value and care about. Random dudes can't be the factor at play for women having higher standards. Maybe it's because women are starting to be more educated than men?

Source?

I don't know whether they inflate egos so much. I don't like it when guys act like simps. That's why it's so funny. It's not a compliment because girls know they would behave that way for most any girl. We are aware that people using that strategy tend to do it to large numbers of women. I think your base assumption that women code it as a positive is deeply flawed.

I think he means it doesn't make you weird which I can attest to. Just a bit more awake and enthusiastic.

Yes. I think it's beautiful to be part of a team and grow together and I've met plenty of men who think the same.

Yep. But also women aren't trying to get commitment only. women also want sex and pleasure.

I think in general if you want commitment, find someone who wants commitment. If you want casual, find someone who also wants casual. There are people of all genders who fall in both camps. Using these generalisations aren't helpful. People choose relationships for a multitude of reasons.

That's really reductive. Girls like sex too.

That's a sweeping generalisation

I agree

I think we can all agree that nobody owes anyone else anything. So by that logic, it might not benefit the average men if women are deluded and keep chasing men out of their league, but they don't owe men below that level of attractiveness anything, so what have they done wrong?

This kind of assumes women all want men to stick around for long term relationships. A lot of women like casual sex too. It's just preference.

I hate your mentality but love the sentiment and feel like most guys following this will fall in love with one of the fat girls and decide that's what they wanted anyway.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
