The other issue I have is that I can’t cut contact with the female friend who’s dating him now because she’s best friends with two of my best/ closest friends. I’m going to see her at all the events they have coming (baby shower, group trips etc)

Thanks so much . This actually made me feel so much better. I’m going to pour into myself and forget these folks

I’m getting my masters right now but they both have / are getting JDs or MBAs. Thoughts?

It’s not about other people gossiping, it’s that I’ll never be able to escape their “power couple” presence now. He is inevitably going to be present around me because the girl is close friends with my closest friends

I guess imo he mistreated me because he knew I had feelings for him (I’d told him) so he knew anything that happened wasn’t going to be seen as casual from my end

I see where you’re coming from. But I supported both these people through breakups and the female friend knew him and I had some history. She was super insensitive about it when she brought up that they were talking initially. You’re right about one thing though - they both lack a lot of empathy and do / have stepped on others to get to where they are what I realized recently Close male friend also knew I had real feelings for him and I trusted he wouldn’t make a move /take advantage of that kno…

Thank you so much for this. Really helped me so much reading this and everything you articulated I know is so true. Just need to keep reminding myself of all of this

I don’t want to disclose because it’s quite specific and could identify me. But very prestigious and professional degree associated

The thing is he knew I had feelings for him before we hooked up. I’d told him prior

Resentful. Because I supported him during a rough time and was an amazing friend to him. And then he used me and left me

Yes. This whole situation is sort of making the current mental health problems I have even worse to be honest.

I’ve had depression / anxiety for the last few years and was diagnosed with some other things. Due to a very fucked up upbringing. It has been difficult to get back on my feet without access to professional help

Thank you for this. I really appreciate it To address your edit, that alpha was a different one. And it wasn’t really a alpha widowed situation because we didn’t have sex

I was in love with his character personality and charisma. He also had the status. Looks wise she is out of his league but she is attracted to his personality too . That’s what makes this hard. They’re both incredibly hard working successful people in the same career field. She is actually more successful / further ahead in the field then him so he admires her for that and her insane looks of course I’m sorry I’m just going insane here. I don’t know how I’ll ever come back from this. This girl i…

I’m slim (though not muscular) so body fat / being in shape isn’t really a problem I think. I also play a sport and dance. Not really a Tom boy anymore but perhaps just being more confident is what I need to work on.

I am def motherly and protective (but I thought guys liked that in some sense?) And I get called cute all the time and beautiful sometimes. Rarely hot, once in awhile. I’m short / petite. Get called adorable and cute all the time. Am bubbly and energetic. Also look young for my age. Body wise I’m small but a somewhat curvy/ have a nice bum.

The guys usually want to sleep with me. Recently hooked up with someone who was a really close friend and knew I had feelings for him. Said he didn’t want a relationship after / didn’t know if he would eventually

Thank you so much, this was truly inspiring and comforting. I’m so happy you found it to be a great experience! May I ask where you’re from? Did you live in America before London or another country?
/r/RedPillWomen07/09/19 09:32 PM

We almost dated - feelings were mutual but I messed it up with bad communication / trust issues. So no we were never in a relationship , but he was the first person I loved and could see a future with. It wasn’t just looks, that’s the worst part. There are plenty of cute guys out there but not guys who I’m attracted to, share the same values, religion, priorities and long term goals as me like he did. I guess I’m really hung up because he was the full package and I’ve only found pieces of him in…

Thank you for the brutally honest answer. I needed it, I know. To clarify. I am not thinking about sending the letter out of f feeling like I’ll never find another man. I want to send it for myself so I can stop replaying all the things I didn’t say to him in my head (I bottled up everything, pretended I forgave him for some things and essentially took the blame for everything that happened when it wasn’t mine to take). I’ve held onto this resentment for years and not being able to forgive him a…

He meant a lot to me because he was the first person I really loved and the first person I was vulnerable with about how I felt ( I never told him I loved him but I told him I had feelings for him). He was the very first person I could see myself with long term and ultimately just knowing him completely changed me as a person (and it seems I’m not the only one who has been inspired by him - I see everyone around him grow and become influenced by him). I know what to look for in other men but non…

Unfortunately not as good as I hoped - I started a new temp full time job so it’s been too busy for a lot of this. Did go to my first therapy session though which I already feel like continuing to go will help a lot! What was the goal you reached? That’s still awesome! April will be our month !! :)

It’s more like nun mode for dating I guess. I’m not too sexually active. I’m allowing myself to not stress about finding someone for this month essentially - am not on dating apps, seeking out dates, stopped chatting with anyone I was previously seeing casually

Thank you, I’ve been thinking about five years. This is just for the month and I want to be married / engaged by 27. I realized I can’t have a lot of the things I want long term until I gain independence / catch up to most people my age (learn how to drive, move out, etc). These are the immediate priorities. But do you have any suggestions for what to add to the list based on the other ones you’ve seen? What did their lists look like more specifically? Thanks so much !

My masters program is part time hence the reason I’m job searching but I totally see your point! I low key regret starting the masters program because it’s such a drain of time Thanks so much!!

I appreciate you sharing. And I really need to tell you please please please please do not let the depression get as far as it has gotten for me. You’re a few months in and you can still turn this around for you - go to therapy, hit the gym to stay motivated, sort this shit out make it a priority. These are the things I wish I could go back and tell my 23 year old self. I was on autopilot for a few years just overal depressed and missed out on years of my life this way. Go live. Please

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
