You're not really demonstrating that women can rape men, just that erection can be involuntary (something we all know from getting called to the board in primary school with a massive boner). Being hung, of course, doesn't apply... unless it's a woman strangling a man just to rape him, which I'm sure must have happened at a point or another in history. Rapes from men to women of course happen a lot, and it's documented that they can get aroused, as you said, lubricated, and even have involuntary…

Happy to be convinced otherwise, but I don't see how a man would get hard in a case like that.

I'm still not sure a woman can rape a man. She can torture him or sexually assault him, but for me, rape is a forced coitus.

They keep repeating this narrative: men are in crisis because they used to rule the world and now they have been replaced by an equal world. This is a preposterous simplistic idea, mostly aimed at helping feminists congratulate themselves for their great victories, and displaying fake empathy towards men. The implication is that we used to live in an unfair world, and feminist justice gave men a taste of their medicine, something that was traditionally endured by women "for all of history". A be…

I don't ask for body count but I take it for granted that most folks, men and women, have had plenty of partners. If not, I'd think there would be something weird with them.

There is an evolutionary bias for men to share their wives: men have a greater probability to die, and therefore, having another man involved increases the chances of survival of the offspring. From this arises the swinger culture, the cuckold fetish and so on - even if that's an unpleasant thought for a lot of guys. Mind you, [70% of women say a married man who has an affair is always morally wrong] doesn't mean that men will cheat less. It just means that it goes on in a more concealed manner.…

Things are cheating when it's decided in a relationship that it's cheating... not much more to it. There are plenty of couples out there that consider it acceptable to have an improvised fuck with someone if the opportunity presents itself, and that they would only draw the line when check-ins and hook ups continue afterward. My own ex would let me fuck guys and didn't worry much about it, although we set up some rules about protection and communication. Every time it happened, it didn't bother …

I think there is an evolution there, through the usual thesis, antithesis and synthesis. It's not good to be a man and not be aware that some of these traits, right or wrong, are negatively impacting others, in particular women. If guys kick the shit, drink beer and have a good time, there might be no harm intended, but it might feel exclusive to most women, so it could make them feel shitty, in particular, if they don't have a similar thing going for them. Notice that I'm not talking about righ…

Honestly I have debates about that. I don't like therapy because most therapist are women and feminists/progressives. I like being a man, I like my dumb manly ways - and when I'm not well, I don't need someone to tell me that the problem is that I should cry more or abandon the patriarchy or whatever. I know that's a characterization and a therapist that would be biased ideologically during therapy would be completely unprofessional. But my guard go up when I see a therapist's demeanor or catch …

Mens rights focus on custody rights and false accusations and overlook broader issues like gender violence and the pay gap. That's some fucked up argument... so removing a dad from a family or sending innocent men to rot in jail are minor issues while statistically low levels of crimes (though no less abhorrent and unacceptable) and a 15% difference in overall wages are more important?? On what barometer?

Nice deep dive, but I got a shortcut for you. "The patriarchy hurts men too", is essentially saying that men who suffer should take it upon themselves to evolve away from traditionalism in order to not suffer anymore. In other words, it's blaming the victim, which if I recall well, is a posture that's intensely condemned by feminists when it is directed at women.

Yes, sadly most humans fall into these traps.. it's completely hypocritical and unproductive, especially since these groups were motivated initially specifically to counter issues like that: generalizations, lack of empathy, differing standards etc. Not really sure what to do about it beyond what you are doing here - explaining calmly...

If you look at data on male heroism, you'll have a hard time finding good stats, even if we all have a strong sense that it's a behavior characteristic of males. However, if you look up male heroism relative to female beauty, you'll find plenty of research and press pick-up. Hillarious.

I live in Spain and this did happen a while back. This is far from the worst thing that "ministry" has done. All they do is anti men and geared for Instagram. Huge waste of money. Edit: case in point, Sra Ministra and her team are currently visiting the U.S. to help against the loss of women's rights there. Very obvious the professionalism and credibility of this official Spanish dispatch.

Women are attracted to manly men so some men over-perform this to attract women. That overperformativity (shit now I sound like a woke) is destructive and feminist point this out as toxic masculinity.

I have two youngsters and think about that often too. My eldest, 11 dude, is already totally burned out by the feminist drumming and sees it as something to rebel against. My youngest 7/G likes to tout feminist messages for play but quickly pulls back when there are any attacks on males in general - she has two guys at home that carefully support her and help her along and she loves it. As a principle of guidance, I try to recall that we are in an age of extremes. It's wrong to think that things…

Ok maybe I didn't explain myself very well: I started exploring with guys about a year before I met my future wife - and it was a process where I was looking around for support and maybe validation (which wasn't hard to find). I then met her and we quickly decided to form a stable relationship - monogamous. Since it looked like this was going to be serious, I thought it was important that she knew right away about this side of my sexuality. I never intended to cheat on her, and yes, I agree that…

I'm bisexual and was married for 14 years, now divorced for 5. When I first met my future wife, I thought I'd come clean from the start and told her I was exploring with guys. I was feeling all proud and modern about my sexuality but she exploded in rage and almost broke up with me just then. At the time it was super confusing. We then settled into a happy family setup but the sex was terrible, so I started doing some supplement on the side more and more. I was baffled on how easy it is for guys…

The key is to be valued as a person by the other side. The loudest anti-men voices are from young women who think they will eat the world with ketchup. They claim to not need men and are unwilling to compromise. Then nature kicks in - they start thinking about getting babies and have plenty of example around them of how shitty it is for single moms to get by. All the sudden, forming a relationship with a tall, handsome, masculine man who makes a good living is the top objective. In other words, …

So overall, you have siloed people digging their heels in their position in every category. It can be feminism, environmentalism, Covid, racism - you actually see similar behaviours every time. That's because people get online, they absorb emotionally driven cognitive compounds (association of idea like "joking about rape allows people to rape more") without taking a careful look at them. And don't forget the progressive fig leaf that men and women are supposed to be blanc slates, and caused to become good or evil due to society's genderisation. If only we'd stop buying Barbie dolls and GI Joes for our kids, the would would return to the harmony of the garden of Eden.

Men's issues are being ignored (by both sexes) because we men are wired to protect women and women are wired to protect themselves and children. In other words, modern-world social movements like feminism are profoundly molded by traditional/primitive/biological behaviours. It must be a rude awakening when a feminist or a woke realises that they are carrying water for the traditional world they are seeking to overturn.

It's not about wether the "patriarchy" exists or not - everything exists to some degree in some people. The right question is how much does patriarchy influences society compared to drivers like economics, biology, history etc. The first thing that occurs to me is that there would need to be a great level of solidarity and collaboration between men in order to uphold patriarchical values (or to "keep women down"). But men compete amongst themselves constantly, for power, resources, women or even…

Nobody is talking about what's right and wrong here - it should be clear to anyone on this sub that things are profoundly unjust towards men. So what it comes down to is what one's priorities are. For me, there isn't a single shred of doubt about it: the kids matter above everything. So either OP works towards a situation where he gets to see them or he plays the game of "an eye for an eye". The second one might very well cost him his custodial rights. EDIT: if you don't have kids, you should no…

You're going a bit in the way of a strawman there my friend - I never spoke about anyone owing anything, you only are using that language. I'm writing this because there is nothing worse for all involved than a nasty divorce. If you can do what you can to reduce the animosity, even by being generous and giving more than what is due, hopefully the other person will take that into consideration and try to deal with issues in a friendly manner. Hey brother - I was married for 14 years as well, also with two kids, and my wife also decided to stop then. That was five years ago. Yeah I agree with you - it's like the old test "replace the word Men by Jews, and see if you are anti men". But the "feminist movement" is at once a political movement and a movement of solidarity between women. So if you criticise it on hard facts and logic, many will hear it as an attack on their desire for solidarity. Then they get mad.

Arguing is not going to get you to a good position with them. In part, being feminist is a way for women to express that they are in need of support and attention, and that there is a space that they share with other women in which men are only passing guests. If you come with hard facts and logic, they will only hear that you are not respecting their wishes - unless of course you're talking with someone who's genuinely interested in debating issues earnestly. Well you got a case of bullying with a bunch of witnesses there. If 1-2 coworkers agree to back you up you could notify HR with a certified letter explaining what happened. First of all, it's important to note that we're too deep into it to see things clearly, but this is a full blown revolution - running much deeper than the 60s counterculture for comparison. I don't believe it's organic and it's either driven by algorythms, a foreign cultural intoxication or a domestic divide and rule messy, multi year campaign. That video makes me ill. If we can all agree that a parent walking out on their kids is near sure way to destroy their childhoods, I would say that perhaps there is a bit more societal reprisal on mothers than fathers. This is in the same vein than when they consider mothers more important or more entitled to access to their kids than fathers. Not sure if there is any way to justify it, but that's how it is at present. What really makes me vomit here is the smug face of these women and how they …

The pay gap is composed of several factors - and kids rearing is likely amongst the top of the list. Single mothers are most impacted by this, so a 50/50 shared custody brings equality back, assuming both parents are available to help.

It's just human nature to do something to an excess until someone else stops you. Many strands of feminism have direct or implied accusation against men. That's a very obvious justification for confronting it. Just to take an equivalent in history, Socialism gave a voice to the proletariat and helped curb many abuses, especially in labor. On the other hand, all my long term relationship have started by relatively slutty situations: a girl that would kiss me out of nowhere, one that I met at a swinger club, an awesome Tinder "one night stand" (that turned into a 4 years and cou…

Many women feel threatened by men who can do it all, including tasks normally seen as feminine. I've been involved in all areas of raising my kids since they were born, and I could write a whole book on how many women spewed loaded comments at me for no reasons. The same happens with many men - if a woman starts picking up tools and fixing things around the house or insisting on being the driver, some men feel that it puts their identity in question. It's just human nature mate, we're dumb creat…

Pick a sport my friend - any that's appealing to you but something that you'd have to share with others. Make sure you go and practice it at least twice a week. Stay at it for 3 months at the very least and then decide if it's for you - if not, try something else. This will be a source of light, hunger, sleep, social interactions, endorphins, increase in self confidence and from it things will start to allign for you. Love you mate.

I'm from Spain, and here they took it to another level altogether: They have a special crime called "gender violence" which is defined in the law as violence from men to women, with aggravated circumstances above domestic violence crimes. We also have the "Ministry of Equality" which fights exclusively for women and LGBTQs folks. Want a dose of equality my brother?? come over here!

How would that be biased towards any of the parents? It could be either the mom or the dad exiting the house in the middle of the night. Keep in mind that I am not discussing the custody battle here.

I doubt that a judge will be in favor of any parent taking a kid out of his household at 1h30 in the morning - this is a different issue than the custody dispute. The child's wellfare is a key preocupation in most court and most of the time this means keeping the child with the minimum amount of disturbance possible in the home he's accustomed to.

I know from doing a bit of research that men are often discouraged to take part in feminist marches in Mexico or excluded altogether. In Spain, where I live, it's been a similar story - although feminist groups have disagreements over this. What I think is unquestionable is that there is no honorable space for men in feminism - as a man, you have to agree and support the cause, or you are labeled a macho, a chauvinist, a misogynist etc etc.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/03/20 11:26 AM

Women excluding men from the feminist movement makes no sense at all, in particular if you take into consideration that their main issue is the cartels - a much larger problem that impacts everyone in Mexico, not just women. It's quite natural to criticize that, whether its with humor or logic.

For context, this took place in Alcobendas, near Madrid, during a conference in favor of shared custody last Saturday. One of the speakers is a deputy from Vox, the extreme right party currently on the rise in Spain. Vox has pledged to erradicate Spain's controversial gender protection law, La Ley de Violencia de Genero, which makes it incredibly easy for any woman to have her partner or ex partner charged with "Gender violence" (according to the definition, all intimate partner violence from me…

Actually my position is closer to the law than yours. Rape and statutory rape are two different crimes and carry different sentences. In fact, in many states, the term statutory rape is no longer used which makes that distinction more clear.

The age of consent varies from 16 to 18 in the US. Tell me something: if you can have legal consensual sex with a 16 years old in Nevada, and be charged for rape for the same act in California....doesn't that water down the meaning of the word "rape" greatly?

I know this won't be very popular on this sub, but that seems like an excessive use of force, at least from what is seen in the video. "Burnham was suspended without pay for 10 days and received 12 months disciplinary probation along with the reassignment."
/r/PussyPassDenied17/07/19 02:16 PM

I'm thinking the same - and for a simple reason: she is transparent from the get go. If this had been real, she would have claimed she was forced, and only upon pointy questioning she'd admit that 1) she traded sex for a promise to be married ("forced") and that 2) she cheated. After all, why should she admit any guilt in sleeping around, if women are free to choose, are sexually free, etc?

It's legal in France, in Spain it seems to be a grey area, in Belgium as well... My case is that it's neither rape or pedophilia. I would agree that it's morally wrong and am also convinced that you guys are acting like a bunch of puritans.
/r/MensRights27/05/19 09:12 PM

As a European, I find it really hard to understand outrage towards statutory rape when it's so close to the legal age. If this had happened here it would be perfectly legal. By the way, the "pedo" in pedophilia comes from the Greek for "boy or child". So it stands to reason that pedophilia would be sex between an adult and a prepubescent child - which would evidently be a case of rape or abuse.

It's because they think there is structural/cultural inequalities that need to be removed... through deconstruction or something. In Spain, where I'm from, domestic violence from men against women is termed "gender violence". According to the theory, a particularity of the male gender is that they need to be superior to females, so when there is violence from men, it's "because they are women" and to assert their dominance over them...hence a special legal regime and harsher punishment. You coul…

This is a bit of a tangent, but there is a bit of a contradiction with the general concept of equality vs assuming differences in men's rights groups. Feminism takes for granted that all women are victims of the patriarchy. Wether or not the oppression is real, one will always have a difficult time determining if the roots of life's adversities are indeed patriarchy or something else, so there is a tendency to see any issue through that prism and becoming increasingly paranoiac. This is the same for any other victim-based ideology: racism, antisemitism, homophobia etc. I think women could not have a stronger case in having a very strong women'…

Definitively feels like a minefield most of the time. Thing is, moods change, particularly for women. Maybe the girl bails or doesn't answer because of her own feelings at that time. Just as long as you get across that 1) you're attracted to her, and 2) you don't mind bailing yourself at anytime if she's a bore, you're already positioning yourself well. The third essential is to chat with a LOT of different girls and quickly move forward when one sesh doesn't have a lot of energy in it.

I still haven't found any time in the vid where the girl attacks - all it shows is her sort of teasing and provoking with her shoe. Unless I'm missing something, it is definitively an overreaction and definitively giving a bad rep to this sub.

This is abhorrent - there is no justification for it. The guy felt humiliated by the stiletto act and got his "honor" back through violence. Disclaimer: I'm a guy and I do not tolerate misandry in real life (like in my marriage, for example) or online.

The suffragettes fought long and hard to get the women vote. If we (men) had done the same, we wouldn't be in such a mess on so many fronts: divorce battles, sexually-related legal battles, double standards and the rest. Downvote me all you want, but this is just not the right bone to pick.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
