My comments are not particularly directed at this instance, but instead more broadly at the comment I responded to (why be nice to people who ask for it). Im not overly fond of blind compassion, as I think it has fucked our species. Easier said than done. We all make mistakes, and it is nice to compassionatly understand that others also make mistakes. It is fine, and actually good, to show people their mistakes if they dont realize it (critisism) or to even punish people for their mistakes to discorage them from doing stupid shit again. It's not an entitlement to just ask for people to be nice. Everbody needs a break sometimes from the ruthless judgement from people they dont know (internet), so asking is one way to let people know you just want to express yourself without getting rubbed in your shit.
