It's different here, that's why I had to ask. It's quite hard to explain what the differences are because such things are deeply ingrained in culture. Sometimes the differences between Europe and the United States are greater than one thinks. Other things are immediately obvious(like that with the republicans and the impeachment hearing that is in the news).
