Why not “appeal to the herd” though? Last time I checked, we are part of the herd. You still live within a society. I agree with notion of focusing on ‘you’, but your view is a notch too extreme for me. Validation is a necessary part of ourselves imo.

I am going to repeat what was said to me when I moved somewhere new; classes, classes and more classes, an hour or two on weekends are rather feasible. Fill your time with something pleasurable/interesting. Find anything that involves groups of people; FB, Meetup, go to events, just get out of your living space. Your feelings are normal, and with a better social life and leaving no period of time empty, I am sure your feelings of loneliness will diminish. Good luck

I was gonna make an argument for how a married couple could probably FIRE earlier but then I realised out of the 13 relationships I can count, only two do part time work for extra spending money.

Actually that’s a good point you bring, I linked having offspring exclusively to marriage. I went on the fact that afaik a decent chunk of people have kids AFTER marriage.

MGTOW is against human biology; you have a libido for a reason. We’re here discussing this because of that libido. If MGTOW becomes predominant, then human civilisation would slowly dwindle. That’s a far thought though, bachelor life will never be the ordinary or a common lifestyle to follow.

That’s why I am off everything except for FB, which I have to use due to school and the fact that sometimes texting isn’t practical, in case of people who are in other countries. I admit I like the idea of Snapchat, more than others platforms as it was somewhat unique. Tbf the amount of cringy statuses, good morning pics, and sharing articles of how garlic, lemon and yoghurt will cure your atherosclerosis, whiten your skin and send you to the moon was insane.

Imo it is all of social media, not surprised tbh. Sometimes you just need to detox from the continuous news cycle and social media feed. I thought of quitting social media as a whole, living a simple life focusing on what is immediately around me, but that would prove to be difficult, as communication with friends and with other individuals depends on social media.

Well, I think the majority of people who found this subreddit got here from the original one, so they had an idea of what MGTOW means (which imo is something variable), and the rules in the side bar kinda clarifies the nature of MGTOW2. It wouldn’t be a bad idea making some sort of a FAQ although it would be rather similar to the one the original sub.
