Seriously. This shit is awesome. I like how he says it's simple but hard to do. Let's talk about how to destroy self pity!

Speaking fully is something that I've noticed definitely works. Just speak louder like you mean it, and people will listen like they want to

To add to this, I'm at the point now where I can pretty comfortably talk to a girl. I can definitely talk. But the interaction never goes anywhere. It always just feels dead and boring. And even when I try to be fun, there's that feeling of "omg hurry up and finish talking so I can go Back to the cool people". how can I talk in a way that will actually get people to like me and want more?

This right here is so right. Me being myself is being in my apartment playing guitar or hanging out with my close friends and not being very talkative. My natural self is to be very quiet, not because I hate people, but because I just don't like talking on and on and on. It really drains me. So when I tried "being myself" it just landed me more lonely nights. So I have to force myself to talk even though I don't really want to

I agree with you up until the part about ego centricity. He's just cutting the bs and trying to help us out the best he knows how. Id say he's being pretty damn thoughtful. He also has a lot if experience with this stuff, so I respect his opinion. I mean it's gotta be worth something ya know man? Just my few cents. I agree with you though. Everybody definitely has a different style. Do you ever feel like the community is similar to martial arts films where it's X style vs. Y style? Like my maste…

Yea the vid store definitely helps. I've heard about this book a lot but I've always been kinds skeptical. Does it really have good practical advice?

Cool advice, I've never thought of it that way. Also thanks for the examples, I also come from a past of hardly ever talking so i still get tripped up with just having a normal flowing convo sometimes. So showing how convos sound is a huge help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
