When I told my extremely religious origin family about my transition, the first response I got was 'the bible says don't mutilate your genitals or you can't get into heaven'. I fired back with 2 points, one of which was that they had me circumcised as a baby, so thanks for making it impossible to get into your religions afterlife

'Had sex with' needs to be replaced with raped in this title. If a male teacher does something with a female student, it's rape. Why the hell is it not the same for a female teacher. Yes, men and boys can be raped. Get over it

Keep in mind L'Oreal owns plenty of subsidiaries like Redken, Diesel, Garnier, Giorgio Armani, Lancôme and Maybelline, among others. Boycott the hell out of them. Even if it doesn't make their pocketbook hurt, why give a single cent to a company who's going to put an abusive person in their spotlight

I wonder if having an attorney-approved form that women (or all customers) have to sign, letting them know it will be a male haircut or probably an unsatisfactory cut at best would have any legal standing

On paper, it's innocent until proven guilty. In the courtroom, it's a far, far different story

As an owner of a newer car, who's considering driving for Uber/Lyft, this is my fear. If I do pull the trigger (so to speak) and drive for either company, my front and rear dash cams will be joined by one pointed towards the interior of my vehicle. There's the recent video of an Uber drivers riparian being emptied, now this, the risk is there and I won't be a victim

This gem from the comments: So lets look specifically at this womans case. SHe was drunk, therefore could NOT consent to sex. The 14 year old BOY could be charged with RAPE. Since tpeople under the influence can NOT give consent. She committed no crime,. since she could not LEGALLY consent to sex. This in a nutshell is how screwed up our system is. That 14 year old can be tried as an adult due to the rape because he is "old enough to know right from wrong", but in the next breath he is "protecte…

I'm genuinely curious if they'd attempt to turn you away if you called the either line to let them know there was abuse, but you were the victim.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
