I know some people like to have hard copies for reading, but just so you know, classic philosophy texts are generally available online. 1	What is a good place to start reading philosophy? Want to stretch myself beyond what I’ve always known. I think Descartes is the best place to start. Once you have First Philosophy down, it is easier to understand a lot of other philosophers. 0	Alert: r/feminism is falling apart. Time to move in If nothing else, you should visit the sub and have a look around. In any given thread, the majority of posts are removed, leaving nothing but the remaining posters to spew the same old tired dogma. When any post with an interesting perspective manages to squeak through, it is immediately downvoted with 50, 75, 100 downvotes. Can you imagine what moderating must be like in a sub like that?
