The problem is cultural, not legal, you need to change what is socially acceptable. That only happens through grassroots collectives going out into the community and engaging with the people.

Is it? So as far as you're concerned the answer is to treat the symptoms not the problem itself? Great plan.

Not sure that they're housing class c drug offence criminals in the same wing (or even sometime prison) as murderers, so not entirely sure what you're ranting about. She's being let go due to overcrowding of the max offenders facilities, you know the places filled with other murderers? She's being pushed out because too many people are being murdered

I can't see a lawyer taking on this kind of case as a no-win, no fee. Certainly not escalating it up through the court system.

‘All the way through the 1990s and 2000s, she was clearly asking for assistance. It’s a sorry state that… in 2007 when the business was clearly flying and Mr Vince had had his OBE for three years, she wasn’t receiving a penny, and was having to borrow money from her son.’ The court heard Miss Wyatt found a new partner in 1993 and had two more children with him – but that he subsequently did not finance the family either. The son is an adult at this point. Complains she has to sleep in bus statio…

Ms Davis and her New Zealand partner Peter Gardner Sure he is now an Australian Citizen, but Australia has a poor record for going out to bat for our adopted citizens. I think it really comes down to that.

This wouldn't have been different if it was her husband, they're peered, they can get away with anything.

It is never ok to grab her arm out of anger. Sex isn't the domain of men, women want sex to. She's right, you're an asshole.

If she doesn't pay the fine, she will lose her license. She is between jobs, what are the chances she'll pay the fine?

The second she gets back to the USA the divorce she can pull will sure teach him a lesson right back. Honestly, this story reads like some selfish losers wet dream. Did you make this shit up all on your own OP or did you need help?

This "comparison" doesn't seem like a fair one. The question is, did Mark Manes know; or at least have some kind of inkling; what the gun was planned to be used for. The Columbine shooters also purchased guns and bullets used in the shooting from KMart, should all the employees in the hunting section of that Kmart be arrested too?

I'm pretty sure her gender doesn't play a role here. As a woman I feel very strongly that gender shouldn't matter. If I do something that would cause a cop to use a taser, I expect them too use a taser. US cops are very taser happy, it's just what they are. If the woman in the original video had been a man behaving like that without a child he would have been tasered, no questions asked. If it's good for men, it's good for women. That's equality.

She had a child strapped to her chest as some kind of cute human shield. Law Enforcement tend to not taser people with children on their chest; yes she's just that devious

Southport magistrate court is known for being soft on crime. Last year in response to anti-biker laws there was a fight between police and bikers, outside the police station which included damage to the station itself, assault on officers, gbh, the works. Almost all of the bikers arrested walked away with probation only. You have to understand the Gold Coast is filled with scum.

If she speaks or contacts you, tell her "You've got nothing I want." and don't wait for her answer. If she continues, tell her "Fuck off" calmly (not angry - you are in control of you, not her) and don't wait for her answer. Don't do this part. Responding in any way is the wrong thing to be doing. Don't answer her phone calls, don't read or respond to emails and text messages from her. Blacklist her email address as spam, and if your phone has the ability block all her numbers. If he comes near …

False. The idea that men need sex and women have better things to do is actually a role reversal that took place as a part of feminism. Without this, along with the males are perpetrators, females are victims; lines feminism would never have really gotten off the ground. The entire point of these lines is to create an adversarial view point, whereby women are made to feel as though we are under attack directly, all the time, and must fight back.

The woman who was fined $200 was not fully naked, as pictured she is wearing a bikini. The male who was fined $500 was completely naked and assaulted to officials attempting to pull him off the pitch. There is no sexism here.

"Today, Lisa Lewis, who was fined $200 for her 2006 bikini-clad streak during an All Blacks vs Ireland test at Hamilton's Waikato Stadium, was disgruntled that Ms Kupa got off scot-free." This story includes both a female and later in the article a male who had been fined for streaking and were "disgruntled" that this particular streaker had not be fined. The common thread here is that those charged are white, and the one not charged is maori. This is about racism, not about sexism. fail

Most of the women in the leaked photos were unknowns, or micro starlets... there were a couple of large mainstream celebrities, but mostly not. The issue has less to do with the "price of pussy" (which is an absolutely absurd suggestion, only men can set a price on pussy or give pussy any power); and more to do with the simple fact it demonstrates to them once again that NOTHING is ever really deleted. The real reason they're "screeching" is because they're afraid someone might find out about th…

You can't see how being able to suit someone for the damage they caused to your life, by reporting the criminal sexual act you committed, might be used in an intimidating way? o.O

"Also, the court ruled that the mere fact that the tribunal found that the male student had committed the wrongful act complained of was not conclusive as to his guilt or innocence, and did not shield the female complainant from this type of legal liability." So apparently, even if you actually commit rape in Virginia, you can still sue anyone who attempts to hold you to account for it. I see a rape epidemic in your future Virginia, but with a name like that maybe it's appropriate.

Rape is much more than forcibly pinning a girl down and entering her. It is ANY sexual act by which a person is denied consent, or otherwise incapable of providing such consent. This includes when intoxicated with alcohol.

Absolutely, more than happy to explain. The basic definition of cognitive dissonance is it is a STATE of mental distress or discomfort caused by holding multiple opposing or near opposing views/beliefs/ideas concurrently. eg. "Playing football makes me cool" and "playing football will likely give me brain damage". Or "I want to get laid, ever" and "I don't want to treat women with respect" However, this ISN'T the important part to cognitive dissonance, the important defining part of cognitive di…
