| 1 | Some Basic Questions About DivorceOne other quick question....I have a car that I bought for $10k in 2019 and will be paying the last payment for it this week. If I keep it, will it be in the mix for the property we'll be dividing? If so, would it be smart to trade it in and buy another while separated and going through the divorce? | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/06/25 05:57 AM |

| 1 | Some Basic Questions About DivorceShe paid the mortgage and still does. I didn't specifically contribute to it, I have always just asked her to let me know if she needs money for anything. I have always helped buy groceries and household necessities. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/25 05:28 AM |

| 1 | Some Basic Questions About DivorceThanks for your suggestions, I appreciate them very much! I'll definitely be getting a lawyer. I am definitely going to ask for spousal support and she's even said in the past that she knows that she will have to pay it. They are definitely trying to lowball me. I'm not expecting to get much of the money from the house since she's been the one who did most of the upkeep and work on it. I'm not much of a handyman, her parents and brother in laws actually helped with things over the years. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/25 04:22 AM |
