I believe it, look at his acting. Most of his characters have pretty good game.

You have to bring up the Hunter S Thompson influence when talking about Depp. They were friends, Depp portrayed him in a couple movies, and I think some drugs really took their toll on him. It seems like Depp is in a different reality than us, he found the edge while DiCaprio isn't really looking for it.

I just want to add to this, if taking care of yourself is using most if your resources, by all means that's plenty and do it. If, however, your plate is not quite full then go ahead and try to improve society. I think you'll find it fulfilling and a good use of your time, all other aspects covered.

You're afraid. Follow through even if you aren't feeling it, get comfortable with having sex and then you'll get over it. I was like that for a long time.

I read that as the author mocking it. They were making a jab at sexism

Can't speak for you, but for me it was a call of the wild. Pit yourself against nature and see if god, luck, fate or chance wants you to live. I didn't tromp the alaskan wilderness but I fought the cold and found I do love life deep down. Challenge is better than success and hard work beats relaxation even though I can't tell it when I'm relaxing.

Dunno bro, she could be waiting for a beta-provider with low libido and high desperation. Then she could have affairs on the side pretty comfortably knowing the dude wouldn't do much. This has all the makings of a legit strategy.

For me, the most liberating thing was to hear "you don't have to be happy". I found that hard work made me feel useful, and that made me happier than any other thing on this earth. I still have to remind myself that sometimes when I think ditching a class to play video games will make me feel happier.

But they realize it will be hard to get another beta provider at the same or higher value, since their value own is declining.

I think he wanted redpillschool's definition. Being a word, it has a bunch of different meanings in different contexts. While I normally would agree with you, I think asking an expert is better than going to urban dictionary or some other unreliable source.

That's why dogs are Man's Best Friend. If you need somewhere to turn to for your unconditional love, it's those furry little balls of joy and acceptance.

I feel like a lot of techniques aren't so much training wheels as fixing form. Kobe may be one of the best basketball players of all time but he still works on footwork and other techniques that make him better.

Where are you going that there are 2 friendly dimes open for conversation? I know the social proof had a lot to do with it, but I'm on the lookout for places like this.

I can parrot what I've heard- just go for it, dive in and it will become normal the more you do it. I'm not one to be giving advice yet though, we're on the same path. Good luck brother.

It's pretty much psychology, economics and social engineering- all of which are sciences. None of which have all variables known. Maybe you're just not doing it right.
/r/seduction20/09/12 01:12 AM

So previous knowledge is a must? Because not all factors are known it isn't scientific? please. You either don't know what science is about, or are trying too hard to get into an argument that you are willing to abandon logic.

Scientific method: Question(how do I get girls) -> hypothesis(try using two hands while introducing myself) -> prediction (she will get used to more contact with me) -> test(do it) -> analysis(wow, that worked most times). Its a perfect fucking example of the scientific method. Before you go making stupid comments, please educate yourself.

I think the biggest reason these posts get more attention is they make you feel good. Would you rather someone tell you you're doing it wrong, and have scientific(field tested) ways to improve or someone tell you 'Don't worry, just be yourself and you will do good, just believe it will be good any everything will work out'. There's no denying inner game helps a lot, but that can be found in /r/getmotivated. This sub is for improving skills, not patting each other on the back for effort.
/r/seduction18/09/12 03:53 PM

I think this sub is for people that realize that or learn right away, and want to know how to not fuck it up after they say hi. It would be nice though to just have this so half the posts aren't motivation.

Yea, don't go in wanting just muscles. Focus on the actual working out, thats where all the magic happens. Think of you in-shape idol and realize how much time they put in at the gym/getting fit. Working out shows all the motivation and dedication, muscles are just like a side effect/trophy.

Do you feel like its a waste? You're probably just a little scared and nervous, with a damn good justification system in your head. It's hard at first but once you get into it you'll love it.

You hear it a lot from the self-dubbed "gurus", who are trying to attract more lazy people.

I can't really tell what her tone was, but this sounded like a Don Draper moment. You should just have grabbed her, looked into her eyes and said "And you want me like that" then go for a makeout.

true, I guess I'm just being a little selfish, and your comment "This post actually made me energized to go out and meet new birds" made me realize it. It seems most of the posts are just encouraging people to get out and talk. It is a huge step, yes but it is only the first step as well. Hearing how TofuTofu, Fred_Flintstone or Delightful_White took a dime by surprise and were courteous, brought more to the table than they took away encourages and inspires way more than someone posting about ho…

yea, it's not your fault, but the the unknown masses of people just looking for good feelings. Now that you see it this way though, you can help with the eternal cleanup of rapidly expanding subreddits! It's hard to choose between nicer/more polite community and valuable information. A lot of people learn more with pats on their back. But when more posts are just about patting I feel it takes away from the learning experience. From Neil Strauss's The Game, he describes a point in which Tyler is …

Completely, but I send out PMs to people who wrote the stuff. It's the difference between a student thanking the teacher after class and a student raising their hand in the middle of class to say a thank you speech.

I hate to be the dick here, but please don't make posts like this. This community is about self-improvement and finding ways to make the pursuit of women more successful. We are all working together sharing knowledge, do not thank everyone before getting specific advice, for some people will give you bad advice. There are now 73,998 readers and if everyone did a little intro post, this subreddit would be utter shit. It's great that you're improving, it really is. I'm glad everyone here is learni…

I'm with you, most people stress being calm and having fun, to make yourself alpha and more enjoyable to be around. If you can really do that, great. But most people say that to themselves but are really trying to get laid, and get disappointed when they don't. As far as I can tell it's a mix of moderation and doublethink.

Ask when they get off. It makes them think of life while not working, so lowers the work-mode shield. Either come back when they are off, or if they hide it they are not interested

I know everyone seeks attention, but first you should be reading and applying. Nobody here can tell you if it will work, you have to decide on the inside if you want it to work.

If I can remember, he felt Tyler was too much of an AMOG to other PUAs, was in it too much for the money(kind of ripped people off) and generally didn't like his personality at the time.

Depends on the girl. Say this guy is a rock star, meeting only with groupies, I'd think these numbers aren't too far off. I picture rave girls all on E and looking for it, especially with the DJ.

He seemed like a jerk the whole time to me, I honestly don't think he left her better than he found her. All his jokes were at her expense and she was just looking for acceptance from him IMO.

when they say it in front of the more attractive friends, I would say they are claiming you, saying dibs to the other girls.

I think as far as asking girls questions, most can't answer truthfully, even if they are trying. There is a lot of mixup between what someone thinks they want and what works, on both sides. I'm subscribed to /r/AskWomen and I would consider a lot to be different from what goes on here and in IRL.

Yea I mostly use them for convience, in class or when calls would get dropped. Ill text someone important info even after a call because it's a lot easier than trying to remember stuff.

Yea that would only work like 5% of the time. It shows you're needy for attention more than anything I would think.

Never thought of it that way but yea, I am. Reading all these FRs and imagining myself all pro is one thing, but actually doing something has a much stronger pull...

Sweet, ill post my mini FR here since I don't think it deserves its own post. I work at a fast food place, call it Bueno Nacho. Some old regulars come in that I haven't seen in awhile, we talk but were nit really that close. Then, a group of 2 girls and a Guy come in. They recognize the first group and one of the girls, lets call her alphagirl, asks loudly who is going to buy her cinnamon twists. One guy starts getting up and this raised a red flag in my head. I made eye contact with him and mou…

I think its more of only give a fuck about yourself as long as it doesn't harm others... if people think you're going places they want to invest their time in you because they think it will benifit themselves later on.

Don't think of going for the girls at first. Just go have fun. The women aren't special, you would talk to anyone there. Have fun and they will come to you.

I guess by that point you were past it already, but if you basically neg yourself they put down their shields a little. Its nice because you don't have to play Mr. Superman and try to be perfect. It just calms to interactions between you.

It seems like them get numbers because the girls are trying to get rid of them. I'm hesitant in believing that they could get successful dates from calling those girls later.

the classic "Whats your name?". she answers kinda hurt then you say "nonono your last name", which is more socially acceptable.

I think I know how you feel. I'm about year younger but its hard to tell how old the girls are. While 18 should be good, I can't tell how old they are by looks. I'm scared to go for random girls because they might turn out to be in high school and I'm almost in my third year of college. Doesn't help that I have a younger sister in Junior year and I consider her age to be totally off limits...
