Body positivity how most people think of it now is not correct. Masculine can simply refer to men, rather than typically assumed characteristics of men. Drag queens are still men and identify as such. That being said, of the drag queens I have known I would estimate nearly 90% of them are some of the most aggressive, confident, and muscled individuals I have ever met. If the article mentioned her getting a sentence of probation, or a few months in jail after being found guilty, then yes, it would be a Men's Rights issue because a man would get a much harsher sentence. But the article mentions nothing along those lines. Projecting your assumptions on a news article about someone who hasn't gone trough a trial isn't helpful in anyway.

This isn't a Mens' Rights issue. You could argue that the woman might receive a lesser sentence, but you could argue that for nearly all violent crimes, and that wouldn't make it a MR issue. You could argue that the woman didn't have the show ID, and a man would have to. But the argument is that everyone should have to show ID to check a child out from school.
