Depending on if you are against the idea of there being more than 2 genders. I just personally don’t care what someone calls themselves because it doesn’t impact me

I don’t think anybody attempts suicide for attention. Liver damage isn’t for funnies. Look, I understand your point and appreciate it for what it’s worth, but can you see how that’s a little invalidating?

That’s a really good point, but don’t most MRAs think domestic abuse effects all genders equally? I don’t mean to start anything, just curious.

I think it’s just important because the girls have had a spike whilst boys have historically been higher. That doesn’t make it okay- they should have mentioned more of the boys, and raised more awareness around that. It was a study done by the cdc, I don’t think they meant any harm by that imo.

what do you mean new sex?
/r/MensRights10/06/21 03:30 PM

well, we have 3 sexes. male, female, and intersex. that’s the combo of chromosomes we inherit. gender however is a social construct and identity. why not just accept how people want to be referred to?

i’m still so lost on how that policy hasn’t changed.

big pharma is a shitshow. a lot of drugs aren’t passed because they’re too effective and it takes away the money they make from selling chemo drugs and etc

from what i’ve heard, feminists tend to be democratic and liberal, and the demographics of those groups tend to have higher education. that could be wrong though and i might be taking it too literally. it’s an interesting article for sure.

that’s what most accusatory articles say, to avoid legal conflicts. at least in the US

the vietnam war was a disgusting and needless war which nobody ever really won.... Over 2.5 MILLION innocent civilians of Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia died. The hippies were right and the sets of presidents who encouraged the war were dumb pieces of shit.

just because i don’t completely align with one particular group? i seek to expand my viewpoints and hear different sides. it’s called being open minded and moderate, it does not make my opinions any less valid. i’m not here to have a battle with anyone. i make points as i see fit, to start conversation rather than debate and have dumb online arguments that nobody gets anything out of. if your intention is to discredit my opinions, then i’m sorry, but you’re never going to see meaningful changes …

similarly to how the entire mra movement is generalized as women haters or incels which pushes women further away. you can’t generalize an entire group of people based on extreme outliers of them. unless it’s the kkk, or whatever.

you can’t really generalize a population by 2 people. however i do notice most homeless are men, which isn’t something i’ve noticed much before. i’ve been pondering about that a lot now, coincidentally i’m about to begin volunteer work in a homeless shelter. not sure what to expect just yet.

truly! i spend so fucking much on ridiculous amount on that shit. (endometriosis). if i bled like how i do now, and was homeless, it would be.... an absolute horror to myself and to everyone who looked at me. or even smelled me.

i didn’t even say anything about that, i don’t have an urge to appease anons on the internet lol, i’m aware of all aspects

yeah, i think the fact that only men sign to draft is fucked up, i’m literally agreeing with you

yes i agree. it’s not because a man is there. i truly don’t think all men suck. it’s just a hypervigalence, a main symptom of ptsd. it’s like if someone drowns while kayaking they might avoid all kayaking experiences. they know that not all kayaking experiences are bad, but it’s “better safe than sorry” taken to an extreme. it’s unfortunate, but it’s an extremely common thing for women. similarly, if a man were falsely accused of raping a woman, he might feel very hyper vigilant around them. he …

so couldnt they just do cooler stuff? or make a cooler girls scout knockoff?

i don’t think i mentioned that, i didn’t say anything against that either. i think the draft is fucking stupid and i’m really surprised that it hasn’t been dropped yet. i hope it is in the near future.

well that is not true at all. i’ve had a couple friends who’ve been sexually assaulted, and my heart goes out to them. no matter what age, gender, etc., there is not a single victim, or one group of people. i’m not sure why you’d think that.

i see your point too. and thanks for being so polite! i also see where you’re coming from and i value your commentary. ill go back to my analogy about all-black schools. having an all-black school is fair, because obviously they have faced a lot of racially unjust discrimination etc. is that truly segregation? i would say that if a school declared as all-white, there would be some riots. i think that would be true segregation, due to america’s past of disgusting racism & discrimination. while wo…

thanks :) unfortunately it happens way too much, i’m just an unlucky one, the stats are still so upsetting to me. regardless of whoever is being sexually assaulted etc., it’s fucking gross... but 1/6 women have been either raped or attempted to be raped... i think about that when i’m in any crowded area, i just know that one out of six of them have sexual trauma. it’s a hard weight to carry.

prevalence? 80% of trafficked people are female. but, that doesn’t take away from your point. it is not exclusive to any gender.

i just saw a post on r/women about this. we can rly intimidated by the guys, because every gym i’ve been to is dominated by men. you go into the weight room and you just get so uncomfortable suddenly. it’s a similar (but less extreme) concept of having all-black schools. it’s just a safe space. not necessarily saying that men are evil, just like how not all white people are evil. i’d honestly assume that a lot of women would go to those gyms if they’ve been sexually harassed, assaulted etc. i kn…

yeah that makes sense. i’m glad it hasn’t harmed your quality of life. this seems to be the most typical response i get from a lot of guys. i guess we just don’t think about it.

that’s very fair. i guess i’m just lost as to why this isn’t talked about more. i’ve never head anyone be upset about it before. but given your experience it seems very natural to have a negative outlook on it. i think you’re right with a lot of those points. i just get lost when it’s so normalized and so many people seem to appreciate it.

I actually just tried to submit a question about just that on askfeminists but it didn’t get approved or something. that’s what i’m curious about

that’s fair. i’m not for or against it really but i’ve never met someone who was bummed that they were circumcised, but all circumscribed people i’ve met were either made fun of or resentful for their parents. i suppose this is just a new topic for me and is very interesting.
