| 1 | Based coomerYes we are. I've met probably two female audio engineers in my life out of hundreds. When I did post production I knew plenty of female producers and a few video editors, but audio/music is overwhelmingly men. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/03/20 08:07 PM |
| 1 | Based coomerDude...I worked as an audio engineer, even owned a couple studios, and also produced and did some studio musician work. I've toured with my own bands a few times, have played hundreds of shows (drummer and bassist) and basically who whole existence was based around music. I got out of the industry in 2010 and for several years I didn't listen to music at all, putting radio on the music or reminiscing to an old song on my computer now and again. I think it kind of equates to anything people think… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/03/20 07:48 PM |
| 1 | Based coomerI describe listening to "everything" as being I respect good musicianship/production and that within almost every genre there are examples of music that I can at least appreciate and even sometimes like. There are even some very talented haterock bands, but they are of course excluded because any band that promotes prejudice is fucking lame. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/03/20 07:42 PM |
