She was claiming this as the sole reason for a patriarchy, and he challenged with counter evidence. 3	Just had this exchange on Twitter I haven't really gone to bars alone in the US, but in the UK you can go to a bar (pub) and you'll often have men talking to you, asking you about yourself etc. Happens sometimes with older women at the bar too.
