I actually think The Red Pill documentary did the best job of defining the MRM terminology. MRM is advocating to change the "system" [of gender roles and dynamics between the two genders in our society both socially and legally], then on the other hand MGTOW advocate leaving the "system" altogether, while the Reddit-popularized TRP advocates how to use the current system and social structure to one's personal advantage in life. I think it's a pretty apt simplification of the terms.
