Yeah these are terrible takes. Only point four is something I see play out on the Internet/Reddit, but neither of those are real life. My husband was a late bloomer and so was I, so I found that to be attractive in him.

I got the impression that she included it in the interest of being transparent about her partner's 'stats' knowing that Redpill puts so much emphasis on height. It heads off questions like "Sure, but how tall is he?" By putting that info right there in the OP. But then everyone went on to fixate on that one trait specifically anyways

Hell, there are loads of "ugly" people in relationships too

I’m lucky I live in a country cold enough that I don’t where sleeveless tops often, so the pressure isn’t too bad lol. Same, I do shave my pits but I very rarely shave my legs

I really don't understand women who have the attitude towards men's emotions like your friend did. With my ex boyfriends and now husband, I very very rarely ever saw them cry, but when I did my first thought was "It's time for me to be supportive/nurture" not "ick". In fact I felt like me supporting him was serious business because I was aware of how how much pressure/shame men are put under to never show emotion to anyone.

Hold up So it's "not all men" when we discuss all the shitty, depraved, and destructive things that men do, but suddenly when its "men created the entire civilized world" you're all super content with being regarded as a collective 👍

I think I was an oddball because I definitely masturbated/orgasmed around the onset of puberty and I just...figured it out, without ever having seen it or even hearing it spoken about. Then again, I do have a slightly higher than normal testosterone level compared to most women (PCOS) so no idea if that contributed to it in some way

I cannot begin to understand this bizarre fascination with choking. My husband and I enjoy some kink and honest sexual discussions with each other, and never has the concept of choking popped up even once. Like wtf

(women couldn't vote because they didn't want women to participate in war) The focus and content of anti-suffragette posters would suggest otherwise. More like men feared that women would somehow vote to treat men in the same way that men had been treating women

I'm not the person you replied to, but I'm in my mid-30's and I get just bored with social media (well, except Reddit, if we're counting that). No Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tumblr, Discord, TikTok, etc. I do have a Facebook account that I've had since college, but I post there about once every two months or so. I feel like I've outgrown social media agewise, too.

My personal anecdote of my own bachelorette party: Bar hopping with my female cousins and best friends. No strippers. No groping. No penis-shaped anything except for a candy necklace that someone else brought for me to wear. The end.

The best relationship usually to females is the ones with the biggest highs and lows, where there is drama and it's exciting. My one past relationship that fits this description was by far the fucking worst and with the worst sex. It was also the shortest relationship I've ever had

If by "for our individual survival" you mean that one single man could survive on his own indefinitely, that's extremely unlikely. You would need a few other men, at the very very least. Men such as Chris McCandless and Carl McCun attempted this, planned poorly, tried desperately to get back to civilization, and perished. I highly doubt your average urban-dwelling redditor guy is going to fare any better lol.

This sub is so confusing sometimes. 99 percent of the time it's men complaining that women's standards are too high, that men have to jump through rediculous hoops to get laid, 80/20 rule, women settle for betas they aren't actually attracted to, neither "hot" nor "cold" approaching works, even the ugliest of women get laid. Then a post like this comes along and all the sudden there's all these guys coming out of the woodwork to say What mating dance do men have to do? Because in all my relation…

Exactly. If what he means is "women need men as long as there are other men around" then his OP and replies should be framed that way
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 05:55 PM

Yes, some women absolutely have the skills but they will always be respected less compared to their male peers. Hot damn, you very rarely see Redpill men actually admit that sexism and discrimination against women exist. Thank you

Speak for yourself. Sex with my husband is by far the best sex I've ever had, and still is. We get adventurous pretty often, but even the "vanilla" sex is great. We have a small house and a child (with another on the way) and I can confidently say that these past few settled years have been some of the best of my adult life. Sure I had a blast in my 20's when I was much better looking, lived on my own, and had few responsibilities, but I was also much more anxious, fretted about minor things, an…

Institutionally: Medical institutions giving paternity tests by default as early as possible as standard practice during childbirth. Requiring explicit opt-out if you don't want to do a paternity test I'm a mother, and I don't often side with Redpill type stuff on this sub, but I weirdly don't think I'd have a problem with this concept. Now, if my husband specifically asked me to get a paternity test out of the blue, then yeah, I'd be offended because I know I didn't cheat and because I wouldn't…

Same experience in my home state, too. Even the farmer/rancher/welder/trucker/oilfield worker guys who were shy or not very suave with the ladies in high school are all paired up now. There's like one or two I can think of that aren't.

My mother was like this too. I don't scream at anyone (especially not my husband and child)...I literally just can't bring myself to do it. I have raised my voice in the past, but not to the stunning levels of actually screaming, shouting, and swearing that I've witnessed couples hurl at each other right in front of me. I don't tolerate anyone doing that to me anymore, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 07:48 AM

And I don't think most men would actually want to believe that they have no sexual self-control, because that would suggest that they shouldn't be left in charge of anything else either. A person without self-control over something so basic as not groping a stranger shouldn't be considered capable of exerting control in a position of power over a family, a business, politics, or anything else so important.

Yeah in both of his older pictures he looks solidly average to me. Any middle age guy looks better in a spiffy suit and with some grooming, and Leo is not really hot property anymore (in my opinion)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 07:48 PM

My husband does this too, and we have a great relationship of 9 years with frequent sex and very infrequent squabbles. It's not perfect, but I would say that our mutual appreciation of each other, acts of service to each other, and daily sweet words really contributed to the overall quality of our marriage.

The next deflection is always that these individuals weren't actually red pillers or MRAs or PUAs or whichever faction they belong to (they'll all pass the buck and say he belonged to one of those other ones, even though they believe ~95% of the same things) Yep, they aaaall do this, and they all claim that they're different somehow. Cool, so we never again have to hear stupid shit like: "A man who has to work to pay child support is being denied his bodily autonomy just as much as a woman is when she is denied abortion care" or, "Oh, you think prositution is the buying and selling of women's bodies? How is that any different than my office job, where my boss pays for my body to perform labor at my computer desk?"

Yep, you're basically validating everything that he said. In you're own words, Male gender roles are just more rigid and static. And, most of us males are perfectly fine with this Have you ever considered the possibility that maybe you’re just a trans woman in reality OP? You know what would be super useful? Add to that, "travelling with friends" The Redpill/Manosphere bunch will claim that it's because no woman could possibly resist riding random/foreign-country dick at the first possible opportunity. The truth is that they 1) don't trust THEMSELVES, and then extrapolate that to everyone else, and 2) really hate to see western women doing anything fun/adventurous/independent

It's really bizarre to see a guy go on about male bodily autonomy when only just a few days ago, you were asking reddit if it is ok for you to take a pic of your grandpa's dick without his consent (after he's taken his sleeping meds) and share it with someone else. For the confused, check his post history

Sex is important to men physically but emotionally has zero importance. Saving this for the next time some guy on PPD tries to argue that sex is crucial to a relationship because it's how men express their love/emotions with their partners/wives.

Yep, I'm a woman and I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Between ages 14-22 or so I was a socially awkward and an objectively ugly duckling. I was rejected by multiple romantic interests during this time and it really, really hurt. Back then I couldn't understand...I was doing my damndest to do "everything right" and, well, I liked me! And then I grew up, stopped caring so much about what people thought of me, improved myself to my own satisfaction, and eventually (years later) realized tha…

For example, men are much more likely to be convicted of pedophilia, and most pedophiles kill themselves before going to prison. It's wild to hear this from someone else, because as an anecdote, my sister's POS pedophile father-in-law was under high alert for suicide risk after he was discovered and arrested. apparently he told a friend that he would just kill himself if he had to go to prison

I agree that a lot of it has to do with "aesthetic" and very little to do with reality. I grew up in a farm/ranch family, and as an adult I currently grow a garden, preserve wild foodstuffs that I forage, barter with neighbors, and raise chickens. I rolled my eyes so fucking hard at the term "cottage core" Lol yeah. You just pioneered self-sufficient living. Right. Some MEN nitpick Lol my husband nitpicks over the absolute dumbest shit sometimes. Example: which direction the toilet paper hangs. Or he insists on saving the cardboard cartons from Chinese takeout to reuse again. Or it drives him nuts if I don't eat the end crust of my pizza. Meanwhile I'm the exact opposite and am definitely too careless at times. Still love him, though

This is the response I was looking for. Take responsibility for your gametes, for godsake (both men AND women). Pretend that a dick is a loaded gun and that pretty much any time it's used, there's at least a one out of 100 chance that you'll get struck by a live round. Be prepared, and even have a backup plan (Plan B for women, or double-up on protection for men and women). If you're not adult enough to handle that, you're the people who need to be abstinent.

I am glad that doesn’t fall on my shoulders much of the time. I don't mind my husband being the decision maker much of the time in my marriage either, but I would say that while the responsibility for the outcome of a decision doesn't fall on my shoulders, I do pretty much always bear some of the brunt of the consequences, because we're married. And because we're married, most people outside the marriage are probably going to assign both of us the responsibility for the decision anyway. Just my …

Well that, or because human bodies shouldn't be for sale in any form. In before "but I use my body to do labor for my tech job/retail/figher-fighting/construction/employer! It's the same!" ...It would be the same if your boss was literally entering and using your whole body for his personal gratification. If prostitution was totally congruent to normal employment, then you'd think you'd see so many more straight men offering themselves up for gay prostitution. You might not be gay, but that's no…

Yep I get this. My husband came from a somewhat privileged background, and due in part to this, his parents took him all over the world/allowed him to travel around in his childhood, teens, and twenties. I grew up more poor (though definitely not in poverty) and my family was conservative and cared little for seeing new places and exploring new cultures. I would argue that men are more able to accept discussions about male nature/male faults from other men. Not from women. Likewise, women are repulsed by Redpill talking points because it comes from men making broad, sweeping generalizations, instead of other women. I would also argue that women are not open to most forms of men's generalizations because of historical context. Until more recently, "men" as a broad class have always had the luxury of male nature/traits being regarded as positive, …

This topic comes up a lot on this sub, and I'm particularly fond of one idea that came out of those discussions: let's try to create real-life communities again. Not just online communities, which are fine, but actual communities in the neighborhoods that we live in, in the physical world. I think the example given was having old fashioned dances or balls, where young men and women can meet each other outside of dating apps. In my experience, as I've said before, men (at least, younger men) aren't interested in the women that are interested in them, or women who are their looks-match. Young men, just like young women, tend to chase impossible ideals until they have no other choice. Again, this is only my own singular experience. I will say that although I've seen young men ditch the "virginal, grounded" Redpill ideal, this doesn't mean that all young men are like that.
