I disagree. I'm pretty sure it's sometimes (often?) used to refer to a foiled nefarious plan to sneak into a woman's pants. Sometimes the man's intent is honorable, they're both interested, and they're both too cowardly to broach the subject. If you're constantly friend-zoned by women, there's probably something about you that women don't like. I agreed with points one through three, though.

They aren't saying men won't survive. They're saying the systems will favor women. Both are sexist.

I think it was for satirically labeling myself as a baby-clubbing Nazi for addressing a group of people, which included women, as "you guys". I've done much worse in other subreddits. They're running a tight ship over at /r/traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns.

I think you're failing to realize that we're getting a skewed sampling of the population here. It's hard to say how often these things happen just by reading posts on a biased subreddit. Your opinions might be very different if you focused on reading and believing posts on a feminist subreddit. The fact that we get fresh stories daily doesn't tell us much about how often this happens considering how many people on this planet have internet access. The question is, does it happen often enough to …

I'm not sure that's a big deal for me, though. If a person chooses to wholeheartedly believe an unfounded rumor about you, isn't that a pretty good shit test to weed out people that aren't going to be interesting enough to warrant spending time on?

Only if it ends up going to court, which I believe is somewhat unlikely. My understanding is you probably won't ever even become aware of the accusation. Even if the police talk to you, it still probably won't end up going to court. This is regardless of whether the accusation was false or not. I have to imagine the statistics are even better if it didn't happen.

It seems like the odds that an accusation, false or not, would actually disrupt your life are pretty low. The odds that one would be made against should be even lower. If you aren't a douche, it should be so low that it's not really worth worrying too much about, in spite of the potentially horrific consequences. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how it seems. I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. I might change my mind after I try it out, but right now I think it's worth dipping my toes into the wa…

All people are really that bad. We're all monsters that would do terrible things to other people if the temptation became extreme enough. Some people require more temptation than others. The law can provide a woman with a tremendous amount of temptation when a man makes himself legally vulnerable to her.

I don't believe anybody is completely good or completely evil and I haven't personally noticed a correlation between gender and tendencies towards virtuous behavior. Maybe your experiences have been different and maybe I'm wrong. Until I notice the difference you're suggesting, I'm going to continue to assume that the difference isn't there.

Nope, if I'm not in a romantic relationship with them, it's not as relevant if they're like that in the context of a romantic relationship. We're all horrible monsters to an extent. You can't expect the people you befriend to be perfect, so you find the best of what's available and get what you can out of them. You're deluded if you think men aren't just as horrible in other ways.

You might want to consider reading some stories on /r/NoFap/. You might notice some similarities that could help you to determine what might have been caused by a build up of sperm in your nutsack. Cutting it out completely might make some of the changes more pronounced.

I live in the US. My understanding is it's especially bad in most developed countries, at this point. It's a difficult adjustment to make, but life can be really nice on your own once you learn to accept the world for what it is. I hope you figure out the right path for yourself!

People like to over-generalize. The odds of finding a suitable mate, in my opinion, may be so low that it isn't worth the risks involved to try. That doesn't mean there aren't any good people out there. You're just risking a lot to give one a shot. Your odds of living a good life are probably much greater if you avoid romantic relationships. Especially these days. By the time you figure out you committed yourself to a monster, it may be difficult to get your life back to the way it was.

I don't know, that wasn't explained in the post. Maybe one of both of them realized they aren't as compatible as they thought they were. Maybe one of them isn't into the idea of marriage in general anymore. Or maybe one of them changed to the point that they're no longer compatible. There are all sorts of reasons that don't involve one of them becoming a monster. Thank you! God I love these posts. I've spent some time trying to figure out the likelihood that I'll need to retreat into the wilderness in the next decade or so to avoid being publicly hung from a tree for being a white male. The backlash is coming. It's going to suck for women, but something has to derail this crazy train.

It probably is harder for them. You can hide wealth and career success, which is what men have to worry will attract a woman when dating. They can't hide the fact that they're pretty. They can never know what's really causing a man to show interest in them.

She made a good point. Women are discouraged from doing what society considers to be manly things like farting and belching, for absolutely no reason. It's actually a turn on for me, to be honest. I think because it indicates that they don't gaf about what society wants from them.
/r/MGTOW23/04/18 01:08 AM

I'm not sure that's true. I believe men may be more aggressive because it provided a survival advantage though most of our evolution. Those males that were more aggressive were more likely to survive long enough to procreate and to pass on their genes. I believe many women are naturally attracted to aggressive men for this reason. The survival advantage it provided suggested that this mate would be more capable of providing resources and protection.
/r/MGTOW22/04/18 07:28 AM

This is largely why I have no hope for humanity. Small pockets of reason exists, but it will probably never exist in large groups. Our instincts seem to be too strong for most people to overcome them.

I'm not sure how you got that from what I wrote. My point was that some groups have more power to cause harm than others. When that's the case, they will probably use that power to cause harm.

I'm not attached to a specific side. My views usually don't fit any of the popular molds that are available and they don't seem to in regards to these issues, either. I'm not sure what you mean by "equal" in this context.

Either you didn't understand what I wrote, or you're saying all forms of feminism, including the pursuit of gender equality, is cancer. The fact that this mindset was so prevalent in the 50's is why we have this problem with misandry today. If you marginalize a group of people long enough, at some point there will almost certainly be an equally horrific overreaction to it. The healthy reaction to misandry isn't another overreaction, it's to aim at the middle where everybody is treated equally.
/r/MGTOW14/04/18 05:47 AM
2

Maybe you two have different definitions of the term. In my experience, some people believe it's the pursuit of equality for all genders. Some believe it's the pursuit of gaining more rights for women. Either meaning can apply, depending on who you're talking to. Her explanation wasn't clear, so I probably would have dug a little deeper before assuming she's a misandrist.

I'm not sure this works well specifically against women, it works well against bullies. I did something like this at my last job. I would try to always respond to my boss with "Yes", "No", or "Don't know". Most questions can be answered in this manner. Keep picking one of those three answers until they wear themselves out and end the conversation. A better alternative is to quit, if that's possible.

I remember reading an article that quoted Hugh Hefner as stating that he had grown tired of sex over the years. I just Googled it, but couldn't find it. I know that, in my experience, having sex satisfies my desire for sex. Even just twice a month is usually enough to keep me happy. Twice a week is even better, though. I guess having sex has different impacts on people's desire for more sex.
