Laceandsilks, I apologize for one last question. I won't bother you anymore after this. Do you think it's worth trying to bounce back from this state of a relationship and try to stay together?

Thank you. I'll take your advice and stop lurking in the shadows.

Having read my story, though---do you think that I have anything valuable to contribute by commenting? It seems that even people who struggle here are doing better with relationships than me.

I read a post by a married lady recently who was saying how recognizing her own AWALT nature has helped her rein in her screaming attacks on her husband. Another redditor noticed that the OP was still caring only about herself, not her husband. Sorry I don't remember which post it was. I guess I was looking for a second opinion or similar insight.

I promise you I'm not trolling. (I am curious what made you think that, though.)

You're right. It was a shot in the dark, asking it here. Kinda hoped to get an uncanny insight or something.

Hmm, in retrospect, I didn't question what the doctors told me. I kinda just heard the verbal summary of the results, and shrugged them off. I don't feel depressed. I dread getting out of bed mostly because my lazy ass likes that extra snooze. My verbose verbality up there sounds depressed, with all the "last hopes" and "nothing ever works"... and I sorta understand how someone else can feel depressed in my situation. I just don't. I watched porn when I was 14-18, out of curiosity and rebellion.…

If I do, I don't know about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
