I agree and disagree. Words sometimes just don't do the job. We only want or need to improve that which needs improvement. Sadly, it is our nature to live in a constant state of dissatisfaction and to seek some sort of distraction from what we are. Look I am going to leave the words here to show just how scattered my thought process can get. Sometimes I like to pretend that I am a poet, and some years back I wrote the poem below. It has taken awhile, I'm 71, but I am reaching the stage where I am beginning to realize that I never needed to improve myself. I was and am just fine being me. In fact, the more that I realized that I wasn't in need of improvement the more that I begin to truly approve of myself.
