Well, have you asked stbx to stop? Assuming they said no, then sorry to be pedantic, but is it possible? Yes, with an enormous amount of emotional and financial investment that might backfire horribly. Yes, it's possible. It's really, really fucking hard, but ask yourself if this is the thing you want to fight over, or one thing you want to add to the list of things you disagree with them on, and let it go

There was a point in my divorce where my ex did the same. Even though we had written agreements, she'd still email, sometimes several times a day, over vague and petty things. At first I'd get angry, vent to friends, drink, send angry or passive aggressive replies. Then something changed. I replied once with something like "If you'd like to change or amend our agreements on this matter, please do so through your attorney." I hear you.. This is a horrible thing to go through and I feel your pain. But it's good you're trying to be smart about this. Step #1. Talk to an attorney. A good one - not one you find in the phone book. Laws vary by state, but I'm guessing that it will be a difficult conversation and a reality check. Yes, it gets better. You're already on the right track knowing you shouldn't fill it with booze. Fill it with friends, activities, hobbies, whatever you enjoy. Just enjoy the time you have with them, and work on habits fir enjoying the time without them as well.

So... if I'm reading this right you're getting about 70K (assuming 50k of retirement is sep. property) of relatively liquid assets, and she's getting about 75k of relatively non-liquid assets. And no alimony and no lawyers involved. How is this a bad deal?
