Arm/chest strength has little to no correlation to stamina - the girl I'm currently screwing can't do a proper pushup, but can outrun me any day (10-20 miles - I'm lucky if I can hit 6 or 8 :D... but I can do 100+ pushups easily). Just push yourself as far/long as you can (even if you're slow as a dog)... speed comes later. Meh, I'm 5'8" (I should note that I live in Germany and that's quite a bit below average for a male around here - everywhere I go, I'm surrounded by giants) and it's never really been an issue.
