You know, I think you may be correct. After 30 years of marriage I had a wandering eye. But when my wife got sick, and almost died I realized how much I loved her. That was ten yrs ago and after she recovered I haven't considered it anymore. I still look at women and but I don't consider chasing them.

That is a good choice, in my case, since I am a pocket knife afficiando, a not overly expensive knife would be a good choice, but a food item would work too.

When I was dating a long time, I would always plan on paying for the date. After that it depends on what happens next

This is the way. My wife and I have separate checking accounts, but the are in both our names. I paid the mortgage, car repair, she paid for groceries. We have been married for 40+ years, and it works for us.

I put an ad in a singles newsletter, and received four responses (this was 40 + years ago. This was done with double blind letters through the singles organization. I would receive a letter and then call the number. I NEVER considered asking the women to come over to my house. I would ask them if they would like to meet at a public place, but they were all ok with me coming to their house. In one case when I got there her brother was there, but he left right after I got there. BTW I have been ma…

I think you are fine, I have been married for 40+ years, and my body count including my wife is 4, she knew of it before we got married. If I was dating you, I wouldn't have a problem in the world with it.

I think he is being too controlling, If you are going to remain Jewish, and he is going to remain Christian you are going to have problems when you have children. Religion has caused more divorces than almost anything else. My wife and I had different religions, I went to Church of Christ, but not hard over, the wife was Catholic. We got married in the Catholic church, but when we had kids we decided to find a compromise, we church shopped including my church, and she realized she couldn't get b…

I married an overweight woman, I was overweight....but we are pretty happily married 40 + years. She is now morbidly obese, I gained weight as well, but not as much. Try to get active, swimming, go to the gym, go for a walk. Find something that works for you. I am physically attracted to curvy women. Your husband needs to encourage you, and not denigrate you.

I have been married to my wife for 42 years. Our sex life disappeared completely about 20 years ago, it was always pretty tenuous, but it got so it hurt her to have sex. She didn't like me giving her oral sex. I had a wandering eye, but I almost lost her in 2016 when she had a destroyed heart valve. At that point I realized how much I loved and needed her. She got a replacement valve, and has recovered. I guess I am pretty happily married...

I think you could do better, I am a man of course but would not have anything to do with a person who abuses animals. One of my dogs bit me because he was hurting and I was trying to help him....no big deal, just washed out the wound. Many of his other traits raise red flags as well.

I can't imagine why you are here asking for advice. He appears to have gone off the deap end. I can't imagine why you couldn't do better...I am assuming this post is real, but as others have said this post is so full of cliche's.

Agreed...I am an older happily married man (42 years) Too much age difference and he is taking advantage of you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
