Ended up shooting for afternoon since I saw an event she'd probably love. Worst case, we do the event, hang out a bit, then I can float coming back to mine for early dinner or a movie if she's feeling it. Also plan on offering carpooling from my place. Light touch way to give her a plausible reason to already be here if she accepts.

Activities by my place are tough. All the fun shit is on her side of town. My side is more drinking, events, concerts, sports, restaurants, and shopping lmao. I'm not trying to spend a bunch of money on concerts/sports rn when she seems iffy. There is a sick kayaking/paddleboarding spot near me, but we'd have to go early AM and crushes the dinner idea. Maybe that + brunch?

If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. She's the first girl I've dated in a while that I want to know more than just casually or I haven't lost interest in after a couple of dates. If nothing comes of date 3, so be it.

We spent like 4 hours on date 1 and 5 hours on date 2, so more than I typically spend on dates haha. That said, it is probably the slowest kiss escalation I've experienced in my 29 years of life, but I think she's super shy about that stuff. There's actually a pop-up art museum I want to go to that's near her, but like 25 mins from me, which feels a bit far to float the dinner at mine idea after. Based on what I know of her, taking her home as the date idea will scare her off a bit. She's seemin…

Appreciate the post. I resonate with it. I wouldn't go out with her vs the other girls I'm seeing if I wasn't interested. Idk how interested she is. We'll figure that out in time, but clearly she's not uninterested, though I've never had a girl tell me she likes to go slow in my 29 years of life. Isn't asking her to come up with date #3 low energy? She actually floated the idea for our 2nd date at the end of date 1. All I had to do was pick day/time/venue. Idk how to float it to her without it s…

I did, but I didn't want to laundry list her interests since I'm looking for open-ended ideas.

Like I said to the guy below, that's usually my go-to, but she was so shy about the kiss that I think this would be too soon sincd she's immediately going to assume something else is expected.

Not about games, just want to make sure I'm not sending the message of disinterest. I'm not a fan of texting vs a phonecall or meeting up. I have no idea what to text her aside from logistics and hyping up the next date. I go dumb after that lmao I'm newly back into dating, so a lot of this has slipped.

I just have no idea what to text besides BS like "how's your week going." I blank on text, whether it's friends, family, or a girl haha I usually only use text for logisitics or saying hi to someone I haven't spoken to in a long time

She asked to reschedule and I said "yeah, that's fine" and left it at that. I'll probably text her in a few days. Usually if a girl tells me he can't make it I either drop it there or she offers an alternate time. First scenario I've had a girl ask to reschedule and not offer a time, so wasn't sure what to say. Thanks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
